Ang Huling El Bimbo

Dearest Readers,

In about six or seven days, my blog will be turning 4 years old.

To those who've read this blog in its younger days, or those who've read the whole thing, you'll know that the movie that is my life has been through its share of ups and downs.

And almost all of it, I've written down here in my blog.

And I guess, it's true what they say, when one door closes, another one opens.

Yes, after more than five years of estrangement and living alone and spending the holidays by my lonesome and being alone in the hospital, I am now finally, finally, with my mother and father again.

I don't think it will be a problem.

Which brings me to my point. My final point in this blog.

I have decided that this will be my last entry in this blog.

My reasons? I'll be honest: I'm in a point in my life wherein family is my first and only priority.

I want to help them see that I am willing to give up a lot of things in order for whatever animosity (if any) exists amongst us to just simply fade away.

I know that a lot of entries in this blog will be left unfinished, a lot of stories left untold, a lot of views left unsaid.

And for that, I ask for your understanding and forgiveness. Please allow me this time to be with my family.

I owe them a lot.

I am reminded of a quote from one of my favorite child characters, Annie, "How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard."

I do have plans, however, of blogging again. And soon. But this time, under a pseudonym.

Under a different name, but same style of writing.

Hopefully, you can find me. :)

Jologs moment: Feel free to add me on Facebook, my name there is Bookie Buquir.

That's where I'll be posting updates about the extremely-delayed book launch.

You can also still reach me at [email protected] if you wanna make chika.

So, finally, goodbye, dear readers.

It's been fun.

I'll miss you all.

But what can I say?

I'm finally home.
