How Rude!

sunny

jerk.jpg

I'm posting this letter as a favor for my friend, Maila. This was sent to HR about an incident at the ground floor lobby with an HR-Recruitment (I think) person whom we shall refer to as "Mr. Tin."

I'm posting this because, well, if there's one thing I hate, it's people who are rude to someone for no reason. And according to some of my friends, they know this guy from when they applied here back then, and this guy was rude to them also.

My friend was so bothered and hurt by what happened that she decided to inform HR about this.

Read on...

===================================

Hello Sir,

I am sorry for the bother but I felt the need to relay this issue that occured this afternoon with one of your personnel named ********, nicknamed "Tin."

I'm not sure but I think he is with HR-Recruitment.

Here is what happened:

My friends and I dropped by the ground floor lobby to check out the Referral Program currently going on (Roving Spa). Mr. Tin was at the recruitment desk alone. There were four of us at the time, all females. There was a fishbowl containing several referral stubs on the table. However, I noticed that the referral stubs that were not in the bowl were different from the ones inside. So, wanting to make sure I would be using the right stubs, I asked Mr. Tin where I would need to deposit the stubs.

For some reason, he looked annoyed at me and said, "Basta diyan! Diyan!" And please take note that he said this in a loud voice which was audible to the numerous applicants and agents in the vicinity.

I, of course, was somewhat taken aback.

I answered politely, "Eh kasi Sir, magkaiba po yung kulay ng referral stubs."

He looked even more aggravated, and said in an even louder voice, "Diyan nga!" while pointing irritably at the bowl.

My friend, who decided to make light of the situation, and not add to the tension, said jokingly to me, "Tange! Magkaiba kasi yung stubs oh."

I decided to just leave and my friends were laughing at me because of what happened. Please take note that I was not laughing (at this point, I felt confused at his behavior and very much embarrassed) and that my friends were not laughing at him.

I felt so bad that before I went on the elevator, I went back to him, with a friend in tow, and asked him politely, "Sir pwede po makuha pangalan niyo?"

He asked angrily, "Baket? Para saan?"

"Basta po," I answered.

"Eh bakit nga?" he asked again irritably.

"Eh kasi paulit-ulit yung tanong mo," he said, still in a negative tone.

Please take note that I asked initially only TWO questions to him.

And I left with my friend, with him not providing his name.

I felt so bad that I went straight to the third floor HR department together with my friends and seeked out someone from HR-Recruitment.

I spoke with ***** (someone from HR) who advised me to document everything in a letter and send it to them.

Let me reiterate again in all honesty that my friends and I did not display any untowards behavior in my conversation with him.

I don't know why Mr. Tin was so irritated or annoyed at me.

Honestly, I felt embarrassed to be scolded at like that in front of so many people. I honestly felt that he was being like that because I was wearing a red lanyard, unlike him. There may be no empirical evidence to that statement but I really want to convey how I felt at the time.

Is this person the kind of face and personality we want to put in the frontline meeting our applicants and future colleagues?

I would really appreciate an explanation in regards to this incident.

Thank you and again, I apologize for the bother.

The Straight Boys of Batch 15

sunny

7b2.jpg

Alam niyo ba na my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard?

And that they're right, it's better than yours?

In my brief stint as a trainer for my account, biniyayaan ako ng Diyos na mag-handle ng isang batch ng trainees na hitik na hitik sa boys.

1b1.jpg

As in boys.

The straight ones.

As in super straight.

Tulad nitong si Jahnsen.

IMG00197-2..03-1457.jpg

Minsan, nakita ko siyang nag-e-exercise sa class, lifting his body using his arms sa chair niya.

181.jpg

Fitness buff pala ang bata.

Kaya pala may ganito:

5b3.jpg

Ito naman si Jose:

6b5.jpg

This one is named Josh:

794.jpg

IMG00195-2..03-1455.jpg

May pagka-anime baga.

Tapos may ganito pa siyang eksena:

5b8.jpg

Haaay.

IMG00235-2..04-0653.jpg

Straight people are so fun.

And last but not least, ang pinaka, ummm, "noticeable" sa class nila, si Baby Josh:

IMG00211-2..03-2223.jpg

IMG00264-2..04-2125.jpg

FYI, may outing kami ngayong Sabado.

Swimming. Overnight.

Ohmeyged. Am getting drunk with straight boys this weekend.

Lord help me.

One Stormy Night - Finale

sunny

bed1.bmp

Hello Dear Readers,

Happy New Year!

To start 2011, eto, finally, ang final entry sa aking teleserye.

Sorry it took so long. "Someone" was very much pa-diva when it came to the deadline of this entry.

But as promised, here is Ina Magenta's conclusion of what happened during that "One Stormy Night."
===========================================================

Dear Readers ni Chabelitang Bookie,

Pabayaan niyo akong magsimula sa umaga after ng inuman.

Parehong topless.

Parehong tulog.

Magka-yakap.

Ngiti uli.

Walang imik.

"Huy," sabi ko.

Tumingin siya sa akin, "Tell me, what do you remember?"

What do I remember?

I remember Schoolboi's question: "Bakit si Roman?

Ganun talaga. Mahal rin naman niya ako, pero not the way I love him. My love for him burns with the fire of a thousand suns, pero friends lang kami dapat talaga. Mali talaga ako. Maling-mali. Pero ganun talaga. The heart wants what it wants."

"And you don't want me?" tanong ni Schoolboi.

Tumigil ang hininga namin ni Pasha.

"Of course I do!" sagot ni Taba, nanginginig ang mga bilbil, "I mean look at you! Pero mas want ko si Roman. And I don't want you enough to erase that. I'm sorry. I want Roman, pero I don't want to have him.

"I can relate," sagot ni Schoolboi.

"Yeah," sabi ni Schoolboi, "The chase is so much more enticing."

Sumingit si Pasha, "Are you saying I didn't have you chase me enough?"

Nagulat si Schoolboi sa reaction ni Pasha.

"Awkwaaaard!" sabi ko naman. Hinampas ako ni Taba.

Hinawakan ni Schoolboi sa kamay si Pasha, "Pash, you and I both know that what we had, it was good. But that was it. It wouldn't survive for long. You'll always be special to me, and alam kong it's the same way for you with me. Pero, yun na yun eh. Right? Might as well end as friends bago pa maging super bitter tayo sa isa't - isa."

Natigilan si Pasha, "Wow. That was brutally honest."

"Schoolboi just carried Buquir to your bedroom," sagot niya, tulala.

Napamaang ako, "Binuhat niya?"

Tumango si Pasha.

"Binuhat niyang mag-isa?

"You think they're gonna do it tonight?" tanong ko, natatawa.

"Anong it?" tanong ni Pasha.

"It!

"I doubt it," sagot ni Pasha, habang dahan-dahang sinarahan ang pinto, "And if they do, wala na ako dun."

Tumingin ako sa kaniya, walang masabi.

"What?" tanong niya.

"The sofa's fine with me. You?"

"Oo naman," sagot niya, "It will be morning in a couple of hours, and I don't think I'll be able to sleep.

"Mine, too," sabi ni Schoolboi, "What happened last night?"

"We know," sabi ni Pasha, natatawa, "Wasak na wasak kayo kagabi."

NUNG GABING YUN HA.

But that's another blog entry in itself.

Anyway, salamat, Buquir, for giving me another chance to write in your blog.

Kinikilig ang keps ko para sayo.

Pero I'm sure, mas happy ang keps mo lately.

:)

xoxo,

Ina Magenta

Thundercats

sunny

2me.jpg

Hi!

Just wanted to tell you guys that I'm still alive, although somewhat older than usual.

30 years old! Ohmygod. It boggles my mind that I'm finally thirty.

The sad part is, I had to spend my birthday here last Sunday.

Thank God for friends who dropped by that night, surprising me with food and cakes na di ko pwede kainin hehehe.

Actually, yung iba medyo makulit.

So, balik tayo sa regular programming as soon as I get out of here. Sorry for the lack of posts, coupled with my infected pigsa, naging super busy din kasi ako sa training.

I promise, balik sa dati.

Soon.
