I spent New Year's eve with Sunny, Clang, and Amorsolo in Gian's house with her family.

Ang layo pala ng Fairview. Empires rose and fell in the amount of time it took for us to get there.

At siyempre pa, sa busride pa lang, may picture-an na.

See the guy by the window in our row? The one holding his nose? Nagkaroon sila ni Amorsolo ng moment. Promise. The search is over na ba, Amorsolo?

Pagkarating namin sa bahay nina Gian, diretso agad kami sa kusina para tumulong sa pagluluto. Pero siyempre, before cooking, pitcure uli.

In fairness, even while cooking, pose pa rin kung pose!

Amorsolo: "You expect me to cook without an apron? Un-freakin'-believable!"

This is Gian and her plate. Hmmm... it explains a lot. So does her shirt.

Look at this pic. Is it just me or tabingi ang shoulders ni Amorsolo? If you take a look at the other pics, you'll definitely notice a certain pattern... it is quite suspicious...

I had the hardest time trying to make this kid smile or laugh. In the end, nahawa ako sa pagka-nega niya.

When the clock struck midnight, we lit up the fountains. Akala niyo ang tapang namin dito pero alam niyo ba? Sigaw kami ng sigaw dahil takot kami lahat sa paputok. Di nga kami makalapit sa fountain eh.

Obviously, we all have unresolved issues with each other, as this picture shows us trying to burn each other's faces with roman candles.

I gave the kids some mints from my bag. Turned out it was actually valium. Borlogey-hey-hey tuloy ang mga bata batuta.

After all the fireworks, we settled down sa sala and decided to have a nice friendly game of Starwars Monopoly. We eventually quit the game as we were all too good at it and no one was bound to win. So nagscrabble na lang kami.

Kung sino matalo, kelangang mag-perform ng kahit ano. By pairs ang laro. Ka-partner ko si Amorsolo. Kaso sinabotage niya ang game namin. Apparently, gusto niya talaga mag-perform, loka.

The girls eventually got tired and decided to get some shut-eye. Being the insomniac and good friend that I am, I took their pictures while they were sleeping.
