Dear Peoplesupport Employees...

I have a lot to say about how our company is giving us our salary and 13th month pay this December.

But I refuse to do so, because in my almost eight years here, not once has an opinion of mine ever changed how management works.

I'm tired of seemingly being the lone voice in the crowd.

I will say one thing: I feel like it's a bad year to be here.

Things have changed, and, it's not true what they say, not all changes are good.

What they're doing may be legal (though I have no idea why it is), but it doesn't feel ethical.

Actually? Nakakapagod na.

I still love working here because of my friends, my teammates and my supervisors. They're all brilliant people.

And majority of the folks here in PS are smart, intelligent people.

And I think it's about time we be heard. Don't you?

So, my dear fellow employees of Peoplesupport:

Wanna be heard? Wanna shout out?

in the roll-out meetings, they say that they don't have the answer as to why this is announced this late. i am honestly dismayed. kung gagawa sila ng ganito, hindi ba dapat, inihanda nila ang mga empleyado, at ni-roll out ng mas maaga? at least, prepared tayo na walang magiging sapat na magagastos pagdating ng Pasko at Bagong Taon.

At nasaan ang mga HR leaders? Bakit ang ipinahaharap nila ay ung mga bagong hindi alam ang mga sagot? sa itsura e mga nagtatago. nasaan na rin ung pinakamataas sa kanila na walang ibang ginawa kundi magyabang sa mga nagawa ng HR? bakit ngayon e parang hindi mahagilap?

at ang mga business leaders, what will they do this December? they'll have an all-out party (planning kuno) in Shang-ri La Boracay. THE VIEW ang tawag diyan! Habang ang mga kawawang agents dito sa Maynila ay hindi alam kung papano pagkakasyahin ang mga gastusin for the rest of the month! this is utmost Bull****!

these leaders don't know anything about leading people and managing them. they'd rather wear high heels and high collared blouses at work and promote perception management, rather than making the employees feel that they are important and taken care of.

This is heartbreaking. Delayed salary is not the answer to keep Aegis Peoplesupport's employees from RESIGNING. I hear a lot of employees are planning resign as soon as they heard the roll out of this new policy. If this is their plan to keep attrition rate LOW, well, they are sooo wrong. if some of you are wondering why i am pointing the HR Head as the verdict, believe me guys, I KNOW.

this 10-25 payout program has been in deliberation sine January of this year. Payroll & Timekeeping, has been working their ass off in preparation for this. HR on the other hand was tasked to come up with the process as early as May, to start off with the roll outs and employee awareness.

unfortunately, it is just now when the HR Head and her AVPs were reminded when the big boss came to visit them last month. as much as they don't want to roll this out immediately, they have been forced to do so since the pressure came from upstairs.

had they initially planned this earlier, and not sat on their pussies for months, we would have been more prepared for this.

and don't you notice HR's tactics in the roll-out? pa-grupo grupo, small group discussions, consultancies (kunwari). bakit hindi gamitin ang Communications Team to announce this once and for all? hindi ba "divide and conquer technique" ito? AYAW NILA NG TOWNHALL. AYAW NILA NG GULO. GUSTO NILA, ANG MGA TEAM SUPERVISORS NATIN ANG MAMROBLEMA SA PAGSASABI SA ATIN. AYAW NILANG MAGING ISA ANG BOSES NATIN. TAKOT SILA SA ATIN LALO NA KUNG SABAY SABAY TAYONG MAGALIT!

in the roll outs, they say that other call centers are also having the 10-25 payouts and if we follow this "best" practice, we will be spared from the long lines in ATMs during 15s and 30s. Hello?! do they really think we'll buy that crap?

besides, if "most" centers are getting their pay on the 10 and 25th of the month, it only means that we'll also have our share of long lines in ATMs.

in short, 9,994 employees will suffer for the incompetencies of 6 HR leaders. i don't want to name names. but if they'll continue to bull**** us in the coming days with non-sensical answers and promote the "divide and conquer" technique, i'll be forced to name them one-by-one. and i'll start with that one funny girl with the face of MAHAL.

I have been totally dismayed about this happenings in the company. Totally demotivating. I have applied for this company over others who are offering even higher salaries because I have been receiving good feedbacks from friends. I have been with PS for about 3 years and I have never been demotivated not until today. Pinangangalandakan nyong, you are in need of more employees for the Rockwell site e kung ngayon nga di nyo mabigay ang dapat, mandadamay pa kayo.

I am not begging this people from the higher ups to give us what we want dahil magiging utang na loob namin to, because we have worked hard for it. Nung binago nila yung benefit for the maxicare, walang umangal. Pag nagkakasakit ang employee, sino ang nagtutulungan, kami kami din in our own little ways. Ngayon, ibang usapan na ito. You are making this Christmas a memorable one. A miserable one.

I understand where the company is coming from. I empathize with the situation but you have to understand, that what we are asking are only due for us. This company may be loosing millions if they will give in to what people are asking but believe me, you will be loosing more if you demotivate your people.

Just a simple advise, there is no better asset for any business other than motivated employees. This is a simple rule of business.

my mom told me to transfer to another company kasi alam nyang maliit ang salary sa ps compared to other companies.pero ayoko kasi,masaya ako sa account at sa mga naging kateam ko,and i gained friends sa more than 3 yrs kung stay dito..kaso,parang gusto ko nang sundin ang sinabi ng nanay ko pag di inaus tong 10-25 salary crediting issue..

I have friends who wanted to apply here in PS before.. and buti na lang I advised them to not even dare.. ang sabi ko panget dito... well, totoo naman... and they're all with better companies now.... I'm such a loser.... lol

i've been reading a lot about the 10-25 thing but only a few about the 13th m0nth pay. Im no longer witg APS but whatever it is, if it's taking effect sa December na, i really think na kulang ang notification period nila. Someone should really check on this.

it's really frustrating especially if you see your agents turn really really mad after you discuss with them the changes. i feel for those who have just been hired during the last half of the year since their 13th month will be prorated, they may only get abt Php3-5k. Also, for the breadwinners. what will they serve their families for noche buena? will their family members understand that because "our office wants to spare us from the long ATM lines", then a dad can't buy a new gift for his son, a mother can no longer give her daughter the gift she has promised her for Christmas? This is just a small picture of the "big mess" that is so possible to happen to Aegis PeopleSupport's employees after the 10/25 implementation. I have nothing against the new Payroll Periods. I just think that the HR people who had this implemented could have thought of other options rather than sacrificing its 10,000 employees' morale on this most special season of the year. APS' mission is Happy Employees, Customers and Stakeholders..not JUST Happy Stakeholders. I hope that the APS business leaders live up to this mission first otherwise they will lose their customers and their stakeholders.

If this is true, I also think that these changes are untimely. You cannot expect people to understand the management given the short notice that they have given the people. The management should have known that people are expected to spend a lot during holidays,why not wait until the next year to implement this? Hindi ko sure yung tungkol sa divide and conquer, maganda naman ang strategy na 'to in implementing policies, there's nothing really sly about it. Ang masama, they foist this to us in a month's time, in this very time of the year. Complete disregard of people, I should say.

marami nang nangyaring kalokohan dito, at ang laging talo, ang laging kawawa ay ang mga agents. kaya nga mabibilang na lang ang mga vets na nagttagal. mayat maya puro bagong mukha, wla nang makatagal sa kumpanyang ito.
d kse alam ng mga boss na yan ang totoong hirap ng mga agents...na magsisi alisan na sa mga katarantaduhan nila.... makarma sana sila...

Yan din ang pagkakaintindi ko. Nakakalurki.I hope the higher ups reading this comments would somehow take into consideration sentiments of the employees. I don't know if it is true, but I have heard that during one of the sessions, employees were told that they are not doing the sessions to get the opinions of the employees but to just simply inform us about it.

HR/MANAGEMENT: The movement of salary crediting is not the major issue here though it would have made a great deal of difference if only you thought to give us ample time to get accustomed with the idea. We, your "humbled" employees, are incensed that you will only give us our 13th month pay (I'm not referring to it as a bonus because it is not) and not our salary as what is rightfully our dues. If you like to lessen attrition then consider the major factor why they resign in the first place -low salary. To stop your employees from speculating and being aggravated all the more then you need to communicate this change better. Supervisors are not equipped to explain this because they themselves don't understand the reasoning behind this inhumane treatment of your loyal employees. Treat us with an ounce of respect, us who have been here for many years, us who have graciously accepted every changes you have implemented no matter if you have properly explained it or not, however this is the last straw. We have reached the end of our patience and if you have a sense of responsibility, if you like to keep what little remains of the respect we have for Aegis, then you will bravely explain this change by holding a public forum and not the close private "deliberation" you've held so far. Make us understand.

Let me share my thoughts in Tagalog.

Hindi porket call center nagtatrabaho, mayaman na. Malaki ang sinasahod. Hindi makatarungan ang plano nilang yan na gawing pondo ang half month natin just to prevent losses dahil sa attrition.

Why should they let the employees absorb the losses (by delaying the half month pay) when in fact we dont even get anything during the time the company is earning? Aalisan tau ng kalahting buwang sahod dahil nalulugi ang kumpanya? Eh during the time na kumikita, may 14th month ba? WALA NAMAN!

Mas iniisip pa ng HR Mgt ang mga taong umalis na kesa sa mga nanatiling mag-stay. OO, malulugi ang kumpanya pero di dapat ito ipasasagot sa mga empleyado by taking out their salaries for the meantime. Kahit pa may assurance yan na ibabalik upon resignation, hindi pa rin legal un.

hindi ba nila naisip ung mga empleyadong breadwinner ng pamilya? Yung may pinapagamot na mga magulang at anak? Yung mga single parents. Yung mga umaasang kahit man lang ngaung pasko ay makaluwag luwag?

Hindi tau magrereact ng ganito kung pinaalam sa atin ito ng maaga. We could have altered our spending patterns at nakapagtipid kung maaga taung nasabihan di ba? Ano ang masasabi ng ating Legal Dept dito? Bakit hindi magpatownhall meeting? Wala bang nagtangkang ipagtanggol ang mga empleyado?

Para kay MAHAL, hindi kami kumikita ng 100K a month kagaya mo. Wala din kaming signing bonus na 500K kagaya mo. Kung OK lang sau na hindi sumahod ng isang cut off, naisip mo ba kung OK ito para sa nakararami? Hindi ba isa itong pag-iimbot sa pagkapilipino na mas uunahin mo pang tugunan ang nais ng dayuhan kaysa sa mga kalahi mo? At Bakit ngaung december pa? At bakit hindi sinabi ng maaga? bakit wala kaung masagot sa mga tanong namin? Hindi ba isa tong katangahan ninyo at sampu ng iyong mga talipandas. Mga traydor sa sariling bayan. Papanong malulugi ang kumpanya kung ni wala nga taung pay for the number of years that we stayed? Panong malulugi ang kumpanya kung walang retirement fund ang mga empleyado? Pakipaliwanag nga? Wag niyo ho kaming linlangin sa mga palabas ninyo dahil hindi kami nakapasok sa kumpanyang ito ng basta lang. May diploma kaming hawak at kahit papano, alam namin kung ano ang dapat ay para samin.

Anung balak niyong gawin sa aalisin niyong sahod mula samin? Ipapa 5-6? Ipapautang na parang si Beejay Bumbay? O ibibili niyo ng payong, DVD o kumot at ipapautang sa mga empleyado?

Sana magisip ka MAHAL. Hindi porket magaling ka sa mata ng boss mo, magaling ka na. HR ka. Dapat alam mo kung sino ang dapat mong paglingkuran dahil kung hindi, hinihikayat kitang umalis na lang sa pwesto mo. NAKAKAHIYA. Pakiusap lang kung may delicadeza ka pa.

this is too much! first was the roll out for maxicare na halos wla na ring benifits na makukuha, next is the accumulation of pto credits,tpos ung roll out na first half lang ang makukuha sa maternity benifits bago mag leave ang empleyado, tapos ngaun ung pay naman!!!! anu ba yan... gusto ba nila na mwalan na ng empleyado ang APS? magsasara na ba ang company... dahil most probabaly... magkakaroon ng mass resignation at mawawalan na ng applicants ang APS dahil sa bad publicity.... too much!

DONT YOU HAVE FAMILY TO SUPPORT WITH? I BET NONE! THAT'S WHY U DONT REALLY CARE HOW THESE PEOPLE WILL FEEL...We didnt get the salary we are deserve to get and now another burden to come?! You are asking your agents to give the excellent custome service to the clients? Are you doing the same thing with the eployees who are making the money in this company?! With this new implementation, its CRYSTAL CLEAR that YOUR DOING NOTHING BUT TO PLEASE your OWN PERSONAL NEED! You have to straighten this out! this is TOO MUCH!

For the past few years we’ve noticed some major changes in the company including that f@#king merger that started all of this!!!!!! First, the "newbies" of the company were just given half of the medical benefits; then there was that mandatory blood typing that was deducted to our salary, NOW THIS!!! What the HELL!!! Ano ba gusting patunayan ng Aegis? Ano balak nila next time? Libreng payong nalang?? DAMN those LOSERS!!

if you're gonna get your salary on nov. 30, then get your next pay on the 25th, that's just 10 days delayed. i don't think that would stand in court. looks bad, yeah, pero baka isa sya sa pwede nilang sabihin. just my opinion. :(

you're right bookie.. it is a bad year to be here in APS and it could be worse next year and the coming years.. i've been here for the longest time and i really miss the days when it's still the americans handling the company.. we get freebies every year, no free OTs (as in post shift meetings), remember the time when they add P100 for every hour on top of our OT pay to address lean staffing? and mind you it comes with a free meal if you will be asked to sacrifice your lunch.. hay.. those were the good old days.. samantalang ngayon they would ask you to sacrifice lunch and bahala ka na sa sarili mo..yung OT pay mo pambili na lang ng gamot sa ulcer! we are being used and abused kasi walang kumikibo and for most of us, the only way out of this miserable condition is to resign. i hope somebody will stand up for all of us. i hope and pray things will get better.

Tapos kung maka pag sigaw sila sa PS Summer outing na "ILOVE AEGIS PEOPLESUPPORT" palibhasa malalaki ung basic pay nila at nasa upper management na sila. Hindi kayo makakarating jan sa position na iyan kung hindi dahil saming mga agents na tumulong sa inyo para lumaki ang kumpanyang ito. 10000 Happy Employees? Thats Bullshit!!!! This is something that APS employee should care about. We are the main component of this company and without us the so called "rank and file" they will not be in the business. I always thought that APS management is way better that other BPO company but this non stop restructuring and immediate changes they want to implement is nothing but stupid ideas of those persons who just wanted to impress their bosses and to show-off their evil talents!!! Kung wala kang pamilyang pinapakain at walang mga taong umaasa sayo wag mo kaming idamay....I hope APS management would think 1000000 times before they push through with this plan

@ bookie: this is no time to be fair. i was from HR. last month, lumipat na ko ng ibang department. alam ko yang 10-25 na yan. tama yung ibang nag-comment dito. as early as middle of this year, alam na ng department yan. pero they tried to cool it down, thinking it will die a natural death. pero dumating ung Global VP natin for HR. tinanong n'ya kung bakit hndi pa na-ro-roll out.

kaya ayun, pandalas sila sa pag-ro-roll out. ung isang AVP ng HR, ung magaling mag-make-up, hindi mahagilap ngayon. ibinato na sa mga bagong external hires para mag-roll out. kawawa.

i understand that we need to be fair somehow. but if you'll think about it, these people working so hard to save their own positions.

i am a Senior Manager. honestly, hindi ako masyadong maapektuhan dahil sa may savings ako at kaya pa naman hanggang January. but my heart goes for our eReps who have been working so hard for the past year and stayed despite the changes, in anticipation of the 13th month.

ung tinatawag nilang MAHAL, totoo un. mabagal siyang kumilos. maraming galit na rin sa kanya kahit sa HR. may pagka-mahangin, at puro salita lang. ngayong nag-roll out sa manila, pumunta siya sa Cebu. kaya habang nagwawala mga tao dito sa manila, hindi siya mahagilap.

For those commenting in this post, may sumubok na bang kumausap sa mga leaders nila sa account to convey properly their feedback on the matter? Madaling mag post in any blog. Madaling mag complain and bitch about things like this even though I think some of those who made comments here were not even there during the roll out. Regardless of the sentiments, let's be fair lang. And like what I said earlier, some of the feedback our team shared with our leaders have been conveyed to HR and I am sure they will work on something to balance things out. Cool lang muna mga peeps.

This is illegal, according to the Labor code of the Philippines under provision of Art. 103. Time of payment. Wages shall be paid at least once every two (2) weeks or twice a month at intervals not exceeding sixteen (16) days. Alin ang hindi malinaw dito? They should not put the blame on us na advance sila nag pa sweldo. It’s their actions and policy so they should be responsible,not us. Kung may ipapatupad silang policy, they should know the pros and cons bago nila ipatupad! Ngyong ung pagkakamali sila sa implementation ng payroll noon tau ang mag su suffer? Dapat gumawa sila ng paraan to at least ease the impact ng adjustment nila! They don’t know what’s the meaning of positive re-enforcement. Kung ang ginawa nalng nila ay bonus na nalng sa mga agents, do you guys think na magreresign pa tau? They don’t know how to value the agents, all tenured, smart and assetsof the company. So what’s the outcome? Pay outs! Don’t they just get it? Tapos ngayon ung lost nila, sa agents nila sinisingil, people who brought money to the company!? Tsk…tsk…

@Enzo: A fair point. However, shouldn't the leaders, as you call them, have been the ones to approach us and explain this during the rollout? Instead they sent their subordinates. During the rollout I attended, I was very vocal, along with the rest of the group. All they said was "We'll take note of that."

As you say, madaling magpost in any blog. Pero apparently, mas madaling mag-tago sa likod ng mga ibang tao.

I agree, though. Some of the comments here are bordering on hysteria. However, majority of them are quite valid.

Also, ilang beses na ba tayong nagconvey ng feedback sa HR over the years? at ilang beses bang may resultang nangyari?

I don't think you have to be physically present in the rollout to be fully affected by this news, don't you, Enzo?

I do hope they do something about this. I heard they will announce something new on Monday.

Sa mga di pa nakaka alam, I am sure this blog is read across all AEGIS sites in the Philippines. Especially Aegisites in CEBU and BAGUIO whose roll out wass placed on hold last November 5, 2010 of 11PM and will resume Monday, 11.08.10.

THE ISSUE:
The old scheme --- APS employees are supposed to get 3 pays for the month of December. (1) on December 10 - the 13th month pay, (2) on December 15 -sweldo (3) on December 31 sweldo. Palagay na natin na pay will be credited on these dates.
The NEW SCHEME --- the new payday will be moved to every 10th and 25th of every month, no longer 15th and 30th. With that change no problem on a re gular month.
This Christmas month, according to the roll out, they will only credit (1) 13th month pay on December 10 and (2) 1st pay of the month for a regular payroll on December 25. Ibig sabihin, instead of 3 receivable for the month od Dec, dalawa lang po ang matatanggap natin mga friendships.

Now, ang dami kong tanong. if you can handle this well and fine but, consider the NEW HIRES from July to November, how much prorated 13th month pay will they get on December 10 without the 1st half month regular pay? 1k? 2k? You think this will make an impression that they will stand still with AEGIS and stay longer if they wont be able to celebrate good and memorable Christmas with us?

HR Leaders and other HEADS, Pinoy din naman kayu, ano pat naging magkababayan tayo kung di naman kayo maruning makipaglaban? Dahil malaki na sweldo niyo at keber na kayo sa mga tinatawag nating eReps? Nakakahiya lang.

Hwag natin gayahin kung ano man ang meron sa bansa nila, iba tayo. Ibang iba.

Hopefully, APS employees will celebrate CHRISTMAS and end this year with peace.

Pero I know din na for a process/policy change like this, any feedback we can share will be taken into consideration kaya I am confident this process change will be modified to make it work for all.

@Fed Up - yes no stopping on the 10-25 change pero yung December payouts malamang mababago yan. This is only the 5th day off the roll out so to speak. HR in their defense naman I am sure has gathered all this feedback, from this blog, from feedback from sups like me have share with our managers and BLs etc. And from that data, I know they will make changes to the plan. Let's just wait and see. Di pa tapos ang istorya.

all you guys do is complain. you should be thankful you have a job unlike other people. what the company is doing is for the good of the employees. lets say the company closes down because they didn't come up with this new strategy to save up on costs. those guys in the higher office won't have any problems with money if they lose this job. you think they would be where they are if they weren't smart people. they already have back-up plans. They must have owned other forms of businesses aside from working for APS. and those stakeholders, all the more have no problems. they could just take their money and invest it in other stocks. handling a company is all about long term goals and leaving a legacy. you guys are just living too much in the saying "isang kahig, isang tuka." you should be thinking more about the saying "di bale maliit basta palagi."

Management couldnt have chosen a worst timing in rolling this out. Reasoning out that we will receive our 13th month pay on the 10th wouldnt make things any less harder for employees who are already having a hard time making ends meet.

Sana lang pag-isipan pa nilang mabuti. And sana, yung sa ikabubuti at ikatutuwa naman ng employees... Paskong Pasko, hanubash! Roll out nila ang 10-25 na yan... but sana, in such a way na di naman mahirapan ang employees.

wala namang problema with the change of pay periods kahit pa mag 7th and 18th of the month yang payday na yan.
The thing is for December, there is one more pay that may not and might not be credited. They are using the 13th month pay as a buffer to the 1st half month payday which should be credited on the 10th of December should they change the pay periods.
Now they giving us a reason that this is making an advantage to us since they wont wait for a long line up due to queue on ATM. duh! that is only a major disadvantage since they mentioned that most private companies does their pay on the 10th and 25th as well.
I hope they'd think about that 1 payday thats going to miss, just not right!

Read the book "The City of Joy" by Dominique Lapierre. in a way you will understand what i am saying. frankly, these indians who are running and who owns our company was so surprised that agents are being paid for OVERTIME, that we have 2 days of REST DAYS!!! i just wonder din't they even bother to learn about our culture and the rules and regulations of the philippines loabor code even before they thought of "ruling" this call center!!! are thses indians untouchables and they think that the philippines labor code is just for kicks!!! they had already axed out a lot from the benefits of our maxicare to the point it is sooooo useless to use the maxicare card!!! then they change our PTO! now they are going to roll out this hanky panky with our hard earned salary and 13th month for december!!!! what next they will give us 1 day restday no OT pay!!! WE ARE NOT ROBOTS!!! WE ARE HUMAN BEINGS!!!! THESE INDIANS SHOULD "WHEN IN ROME DO WHAT THE ROMANS DO !!!" SO THEY ARE HERE IN THE PHILIPPINES THEY SHOULD RUN BY THE RULES OF THE PHILIPPINES LABOR CODE!!!!

According to my supervisor. They are going to give us the basic pay for ( Dec 1-15 ont eh 25th of Dec). They are saying na We have been paid daw kase in advance with the old payroll system. Pero ang totoo, kapag i-check mo ang my prime mo, nadelay pa nga sila ng isang buwan which happened on the first salary. We were never ever been paid in advance. Maybe we have been paid on time as far as the basic salary is concern. Sa 10th ng Dec ibibigay nila yung 13th month tapos sa 25th ibibigay nila yung part ng basic pay(DELAYED). GUYS! Magsuot tayong lahat ng BLACK sa DEC 10th. Dahil siguradong magluluksa tayo.

Pina-pattern nila tayo sa mga regular companies. Pero ang problema kase, and payroll cut-off ng mga regular companies ay 3-4 days lang. Sa atin it’s halos 20 days.!!! How much time do they need para matutong mag-payroll. Hindi pala sila marunong dapat mag-resign. It’s time they tell SGV and Co., or whoever it is na nagpro-provide ng MS sa Aegis to stop sending newbies para pag-praktisan ang Aegis.

Mga totoong tao ang nagwowork ditto. Totoong problema, totoong MERALCO bills, WATER bills, PHONE bills, tuition fee.

Kung yung mga gimikero nga na sarili lang nila yung sweldo nila nagrereklamo eh. Pano pa kaya ang mga solong kumakayod para sa pamilya.

Huwag nilang sabihin na para maminimize ang attrition dahil lalo lang nilang ginalit ang mga EEs. Dapat sinabi nila ng mas maaga para nakapag-resign ang mga empleyado ng mas maaga. E di sana na-eenjoy na sana namin yung 13th month pay sa ibang kompanya.

Yung pagdelay nila sa sweldo ngayong DEC, means a lot of things. Inuutakan nila. It’s like sapilitang pagdedeposito ng pinaghirapan natin. At restricted pa ito for half a month.

At ngayon na na-reach na natin ang 10,000 empolyees, Ang halaga ng ihohold nila pera is a minimum of Php 7,500,000.00 na pwede nila i-invest sa ibang bagay like money market placement and stuff like that.
Nanganganak ang pera nila, habang tayo pinahihirapan nila.

Kung sasahod tau ng Nov 30 at ang next na sahod ay sa 25, MALINAW na 25 days ang dadaan bago tau sumahod!!!! Simple MATH!

Kailangan na ninyo ang isang kolektibong pagkilos. Bawal bang mag-unyon sa call center? Maaaring masyadong matindi ang mga kahulugan ng unyon lalu na sa konteksto ng ganitong uri ng pribadong industriya. Pede namang sabihin na mayroong isang grupo ng mga manggagawa na iisa ang hakbangin na gisingin ang natutulog na kamalayan ng mga mapanupil na naghaharing uri sa call center industry. Mas makikita ng management na buo kayo sa pagpapahayag ng inyong sintimyento at pananaw sa kasalukuyang estado ng inyong paggawa, partikular sa usapin ng benepisyo at sweldo. Iparating sa kanila na may mali sa sistema at kailangang mabago. Ang lugar ng paggawa na mas encouraging at caring ang kailangan sa pagkakataon na ito. Pero kung ang inyong hinaing ay hindi makakarating ng kolektibo, mas magiging bingi-bingihan ang mga nasa itaas para dinggin ang inyong sinasabi.

Everybody were shocked regarding the update about the salary. Why those in the position made a rules or changes without listening to the employees opinion? We are not againts with the changes but make sure it is on a right time. We have many expenses on December. Remember we have a family who are expecting a christmas and new year celebration. Almost all the employees have kids and we want them to enjoy that especial occassion. It is a very wrong timing to implement the changes on salary scheme. How can we finance ourselves after December. We'll wait another 10 days? We need money for transportation, a meal allowance and how about those renting a house. So it is not appropriate to implemement the changes immediately. Think of all the employees welfare too. Especially those who have a family and those newly hired who doesn't have yet benefit. When i was hired here at AEGIS PEOPLE SUPPORT i was so happy. Coz the name has a big reputation. But during my stay here, i,ve seen and observed that there are always changes here. The benefits, salary , and incentives are decreasing. The leave became earning points, the performance bonus decreased and now they will change the salary scheme this coming december without thinking the effect on us. Now i will not wonder why there are always people resigning and there are always applicants at the ground floor. Unlike with the other company, they treasure their people especially their asset. Every year at the other companies, the salary is increasing high with the regular employees, the leave ( sl, vl, emergency leave, pl ) are increasing and many more benefits. But here in APS , it's different. Hope it will not come a time that no one will apply here anymore. Beware people might know all of this through the mouth of every employees here. Especially those who resigned and will resign. How i wish that if we will leave this company, everything that will come out from our mouth is positive or good about this company...

Lubos akong nalungkot sa balitang aking narinig ngayon gabi. Sa aking opinyon, ayos lang naman kung nais nilang baguhin ang sistema ng pagpapasahod sa mga manggagawa. Ngunit hindi tama na bigla nilang ilulunsad ang nasabing pagbabago sa pagpapasahod ng bigla biglaan. Kung nais nilang baguhin ang sistema ng pagpapasahod sa mga manggagawa, sana binigyan nila ng mahaba habang panahon ang mga manggagawa na makapag subi o ipon ng pera at mapaghandaan ang bagong sistema. Sa ayaw at sa gusto ng mga manggagagawang tulad ko, mangyayari ang nasasabing pagbabago. Iisa lamang ang tanong ng karamihan... Kung kelan ito maipapatupad...
Sana bigyang pansin ng mga kinauukulan o kataas taasan ang hinaig, opinyon at mga suhestiyon ng bawat isang manggagawa. Sana maging patas ang kanilang desisyon at isipin din nila ang kapakanan ng bawat manggagawa. Lahat ng bagay ay hindi nadadaan sa paspasan, sana daanin sa maayos na paraan upang mapag handaan ng tama.

Guys,like what Callboi said, hintay na lang kayo sa Monday. Its only been 5 days since it was rolled out. Yung ibang comments dito are valid but some are medyo exag na. And please, wala namnag racist comments. You can voice your opinion - right niyo yun. Pero please lang wag maging racist.

Right now got an update na they have actually indeed made changes daw to the roll out and all. The details - I am not privy to just yet but sabi ng mga managers ko it should address the concerns shared by everyone.

Kaya for now peace lang muna. Wag mag overreact.

i for one was very vocal sa mga roll out sessions. galit ako, but i thought objectively. is there something we can do about this? hindi man nasagot ng mga HR reps yan noon, they took note of our grievances and suggestions.

kaya guys, hinay hinay lang. i understand your frustrations, kahit na ako rin matatamaan n'yan. pero magandang they suspended the roll out sessions today. it only goes to show that they're thinking about other ways on how to make things better for us.

let's wait 'til monday. HR will be able to give us answers and options then. i'm sure of that.

after all: HAPPY PEOPLE is still a part of the company's theme.

I am hoping that these supervisor and managers, will have the heart to fight for us. It said and it is true, that we are mere sheeps and they are our shepherds. I am hoping then that they fight for us and not give us away for the wolves to devour. Specially this coming Christmas Season.

I am saddened though that if 10-25 will push through without proper transition, magkakaroon na ako ng pondo na 25days sa APS, di gaya nang dati na ang pondo ko lang ay 15days per cut-off. Ngayon, gagapas ako ng 25ng araw bago sumuweldo. Kawawa naman ako.

Moreso I believe that those who have a loan with CITI will then have a funeral come DEC, as they will still be requested to make payment and yet there is no money to be paid.

If you plan to protest....
1. I suggest you get all the details now and protest before they all go for their Christmas vacation. .
2. If they offer a Christmas Party, let us decline on the grounds that we'd rather spend a meaningful feast at home than be with APS hungry, angry and desolate.

I am saddened though that if 10-25 will push through without proper transition, magkakaroon na ako ng pondo na 25days sa APS, di gaya nang dati na ang pondo ko lang ay 15days per cut-off. Ngayon, gagapas ako ng 25ng araw bago sumuweldo. Kawawa naman ako.

Moreso I believe that those who have a loan with CITI will then have a funeral come DEC, as they will still be requested to make payment and yet there is no money to be paid.

If you plan to protest....
1. I suggest you get all the details now and protest before they all go for their Christmas vacation. .
2. If they offer a Christmas Party, let us decline on the grounds that we'd rather spend a meaningful feast at home than be with APS hungry, angry and desolate.

Ito lang ang massabi ko... buti na lang at wala na ako sa APS kasi isa na syang "sinking ship". Marami na talagang masamang nangyari - yung Maxicare na wala na halos kwentang benefit. Yung pag-ipon ng PTOs, at ito namang pagpalit ng salary dates. Dapat kasi ginawa nila yan matagal na, hindi kung kelan malapi na magtapos ang taon. Ang pag communicate nitong mga bagay bagay ay dapat din bigyan ng panahon. Hindi kung kelan lang nila gusto.

When I mean understand- we should be all aware how the new scheme is and what is the exact process. After knowing everything, then that is the right time to react. To be honest, I don't know what the exact policy is about the new scheme, but if everyone who commented here knows what it is by heart then I should say that everything said is valid.

Parang wala naman akong nareceive na email.. :( Ang sabi sa roll-out, kahit magkanda-talsikan pa ng laway dun, wala ding magagawa ang mga tao kasi implementation nalang yan. Meaning,there is no way to stop it. Delay is feasible only if they know how to listen to every 10,000 angry employees they now have. They can't force agents to understand kasi kahit mga sups, hindi maunawaan that there is a need for a change in an explicit Holiday season timing. Maawa naman sila sa mga breadwinners at may pamilyang binubuhay.

alam niyo ba kung paano yung transition kung sakaling maimplement? ganito yun:

nov. 30 paydate = nov 1-15 salary adjustments and nov 16 -30 basic salary

dec. 10 paydate = nov. 16-30/31 salary adj and 13th month pay, NO BASIC SALARY

dec. 25 paydate = dec 1-15 salary adj and dec 1-15 basic salary

jan. 10 paydate = dec 16-30/31 salary adj and dec 16-30/31 basic salary

bad trip diba kasi kitang kita na ginawang panakip butas yung 13th month pay para kunyari sasahod tayo sa dec 10.

isa pa, if you have OTs for nov 16-30, it will be credited on dec 10 paydate... Good! However...if you have lates or absences for nov 16-30/31, it will be deducted on dec 25th kasi walang basic pay sa dec 10. at ang pinakamasakit eh whatever deductions you will get for dec 1-15 eh mababawas din sa dec 25... ang SSS, philhealth, pagibig and other deductions e mababawas din sa dec 25... so basically... wala rin tayong sasahurin sa dec 25! grabe! tsk tsk!

Hindi nakikita ng PS ang impact nito sa mga employees. Nakaset na ang budget ng mga tao for December and all of a sudden, biglang magbabago. It is unfair. We worked for this money. They do not care kasi hindi naman sila apektado. Masyadong makasarili and desisyon na ito. Before they roll this out, they should listen to our opinions first. First and foremost, tayo and pinaka apekatado. Magfile tayo ng complaint sa DOLE or isumbong natin kay Tulfo.

this is so unfair. bein a csr rep we are bein trained na matutong mag emphatize sa customers. how come from our own company hindi uso to. i mean, if they were on our position wat wud they feel?everyone here works hard. khit may sakit pumapasok wg lng mbawasan ang sweldo. pag sinabi ng management, sumusunod.. well cmon guys, be sensitive naman. i hope u realize somthing bfor lumala ung ctwasyon. this is not just about money, but i thnk its so unfair kung hndi nyo ibbgay ung dapat para sa empleyado nyo.

They should have let us answer surveys and provided a room for our opinions and ideas knowing that we are the once who would suffer and will be much affected with the changes.. It would be nice though that there would be a representative for all the employees who would make our voices be heard. Why not let bookie do the honor? I'm sure he can defend our rights well.. :)

Its so sad to hear about this.. I hope that APS will give us what is duly right for us EEs. For sure we will be greatly affected if 10/25 will implemented.

Could HR will take consideration and move this new PAYROLL SCHEME next month? We have been expecting from our 13th month pay and none the less we already have plans long before we will recieve this pay out.

To everyone who are against this new scheme please let us all ACT AS ONE TO ARGUE and FIGHT FOR WHAT IS RIGHTFULLY OURS!

why is there a need for change? is this change really for the better? will this address attrition/attrition costs? how will this change benefit employees? or will this change just benefit owners of the company. if they want to address attrition they should conduct a root cause analysis. bakit nga ba nagreresign ang mga empleyado????? KASI MABABA ANG PASAHOD. Most of us who decided to stay with the company is staying because of the relationships they've built. Naging comfort zone na ang APS. Pero kung ganito na maliit na nga ang sweldo, mapa-agent ka, supervisor, trainer o QA, tapos sasabayan ng implementation ng policies na management lang ang makikinabang, hindi na comfort zone ang APS. Ang ending...ATTRITION!!!

ano nga bang gagawin nila sa i-hohold nilang half-month pay ng 10K na empleyado? ilalagay sa bangko para mag-interes? i-iinvest sa business para kumita? ilalagay sa money-market? ipapautang with interest? KAHIT ANONG GAWIN NILA SA PERA NATIN, KIKITA SILA!!! May interest ba yung perang ihohold nila pag nakuha na natin as back-pay? The entire concept is wrong! We are the ones who will suffer! Kailangan magtipid kasi magiipon ng pera para may magastos pag hindi na pinasweldo ng APS. Eh paano kung wala ka naman titipiran kasi sakto-sakto lang? Minsan nga kulang pa. On the other hand, nag-eearn na yung pera nating i-hohold ng company. Pinagtrabahuhan natin eh, dapat ibigay nila. Holding half a month's worth of our salary will not address attrition. It may address attrition costs for a short period but it will not change the fact that there are a lot of GOOD, LEARNED, EXPERIENCED employees who wants to resign because of the pay (and now policies). If they want to stop attrition, they can start working by listening to employees' opinions, views and feelings on the 10/25 issue! Kasi kung hindi...ATTRITION na naman ito!

i've been with PS pero nagrsign ako last sept... i feel bad for my frends who are still there.. kaya ako umalis ng PS e, kasi sobrang panget na ng patakaran! nun nag ka issue ako with HR before regarding my maternity ben at iniwan nila ako sa ere,, un ang nagtriger sakin para iwanan ang company! grabe! nakakawalang gana magtrabaho sa company na di ka inaalagaan... now im with another company and im proud tosay na ok ang mga tao at management... sana maayos pa yan mga guys... wag ka yung pumayag na balahurain kayo!

@Jericho: It's not as easy as that. Some still stay at PS may be because of security reasons. Some because they find their peers as "Family". Some just would like to stay more and hope for something better.
Jumping from one center to another, because of a "greener pasture" does not guarantee a longer stay, am I correct?
I will say yes, we have lower pay from other companies, we have shitty work conditions as you may say, but that doesnt make us different from other shitty companies as well.
I've been here for 4 years, and yes, month after month, year after year I am thinking of resigning... I may be impractical for what the others may say due to my long stay, but there is something I am happy about. Whatever that is... its mine.
We just have to find what can make us happy.

My sympathy goes with everybode, I am not a PRO HR on this decision, I go with all who expressed their angst, but there's nothing else we can do for now, except wait till Monday.

from what was explained to us, our basic salary is always on time. what we work for 1st to the 15th of the month is credited on the 15th. yung night diff lang ang delayed.

i'm not good in math, baka kayo mas magaling so try to figure it out for me, dahil kahit anong compute ko HINDI POSSIBLENG on time ang basic ko...

well i think this is B@#$S%$#!!! Nung una yung sa PTO.. it happened like around April which is sobrang alanganin.. then ngayon naman yung payday and 13th month pay.. Eh ilang kurap na lang 2011 na!! sana naman lahat na changes na gusto nila i-rollout eh ipag pa nextyear na nila especially tong payday.. malaki epekto nito sa mga agents na kagaya ko na sumasahod ng hindi naman kalakihan tapos ang hirap pa ng trabaho! Hindi na ko magtataka kung mag mass resignation ang mga agents. Yung ibang callcenters nga maliit lang sila pero maayos ang palakad eh tayo wala!! TAE!!!

kawawa naman yung mga new hires.. pro rated yung 13th month nila.. kung yun lang makukuha nila sa December 10 let us say 2k to 5k aabot kaya sila hanggang December 21? kawawa naman yung mga bago nating mga kaibigan at syempre sa atin din na medyo matagal na sa APS masisira ang mga plano at wrong timing talaga and implementation na ito.

We were told that we will get our basic pay together with the 13th month pay on the 10th of December. Yung night diff lang daw and ihohold... that's what my supervisor said anyway... but with the confidence level she had when she said it, I must say she was rolling out information that she herself did not understand.

Let's wait until Monday guys. Just one more day and we'll know if we will all have a merry Christmas. Let's all think positive. Christmas is all about faith, goodwill and love. It won't be too much if we will be given a small miracle such as getting what is ours in the first place.

bakit naman kasi on such a short notice nila ipapatupad ang napaka drastic change na yan, ang daming pamilyang maapektuhan. kung nilabas nila yan ng maaga edi sana kahit papano nakapag adjust ang mga empleyado ng gastusin.. saka yung mga ganitong bagay sila dapat nagpapa-survey or town hall meeting. -- alam kasi nilang walang matinong empleyado mag a-agree sa ganito kaya takot sila humarap sa mga tanong natin. HR management.. paki review lang bagong policy at take it into consideration ang mga kagaya naming mga eReps.. yun lang naman, lahat tayo nagtatrabaho para kumita, kung magpapatupad kayon ng bagong policy, sabihin nyo ng mas maaga at have the guts to explain to us clearly hindi yung mga TL pinahihirapan nyo mag-explain nito.

there's nothing bad about changes. APS employees have accepted all changes implemented this 2010, kahit hindi masyadong maganda! pto, maxicare, blood-typing, etc. we have adjusted graciously to whatever change that the company wanted. i think all we're asking is for management to give us ample time in preparing for this new change. and most importantly, I WANT TO UNDERSTAND! Help us understand this new payroll scheme. why are we doing this? how will this affect us? accdg to supervisors who attended the previous roll-outs, their questions were not answered. i hope with the scheduled roll outs this week, HR is more prepared and can make us fully understand the need for this. Matalino naman ang empleyado ng PS. Maiintindihan naman yan as long as naipaliwanag ng maayos. Sensitive ang issue na to kasi sweldo ang pinaguusapan at maraming pamilya ang maapektuhan. HR should create a group responsible in rolling this out to everybody, agents, supes, managers, trainers, to ensure proper dissemination of information and avoid misinterpretation. I'm waiting for Monday. I'm hoping for good news. I'm willing to listen. I'm ready to understand. I would want to believe that the management feels the same way.

I am from Cebu and it's not properly rolled out here yet, may mga bulung-bulungan lang but looking at it, this is so unfair and hope ma change pa tong scheme na ito, i mean ok naman for me to have this 10/25 salary scheme but dapat mabigay ang dapat na ibigay sa atin, sana tinuloy ko na lang yong resignation ko last nov. 15, dapat di ko nakinig sa TM ko etc if only alam ko lang na may bago na namang pasabog ang PS, hayyy, sad really :(

First of all I think that this is illegal!!!

As far as I know, we shall get paid twice in December + the 13th month pay.

It's so unfair after a long year of working, they are coming up with this messed up, ridiculous idea "Policy" for the pay roll in December!!!!!!!!!

If that's so!! I THINK WE SHOULD ALSO HAVE THE RIGHT NOT TO WORK THE 2 WEEKS THAT WE ARE NOT GOONA BE PAID FOR!!!!!

Whats up with the complaining, guys?

Bakit hindi nyo na lang gawin ang mga sumusunod;

1. Mag resign na lahat ng magre resign!
2. Mag rally na lahat ng mga gustong mag rally!
3. Sumugod na lahat ng mga lahat ng gustong sumugod sa HR.

Kung totoo man ang man ang mga sinasabi nyo na you can't do these things dahil "we love working for the company"- then its you choice.

Complaining has never ever solved anything in the world. In fact, it makes the matters worse.

Complain- at the right place, to the right person, about the right thing.

If you want empathy, then give empathy. Just the same as giving respect if you want to be respected.

Hindi makakatulong ang mga "mal-edukado" nyong comments. Ang mga mala "Poor Dad" na language to solve this.

Guys, ganito lang yan... walang masama kung magresign. Napaka daming ibang call centers dyan. Kung gusto ninyo ng non-call center, napaka dami din. Yes, naiintindihan ko na naging comfort zone ang PS. Naging comfort zone din sya sa akin pero aanuhin natin ang comfort zone na yan kung ganyan ang leadership ng kumpanya? Magpapagutom ba tayo? Magpapa-uto ba tayo? Let's do something about it! Make our sentiments known! Kung wala tayong magagawa, umalis na lang tayo. Hindi lang ang APS ang only existing company. Marami dyan, and I'm sure, like APS, we will all be able to make friends and be happy in our jobs. Magkakaroon din tayo ng panibagong comfort zone.

In fact, yung mga umalis dati ay nakahanap ng bagong trabaho at ang imprtante ay MASAYA sila sa kinalalagyan nila ngayon. Let APS Management suffer, maghanap na tayo ng iba. Many companies are very willing to hire. Wag matakot. We should know our rights and not allow people to trample all over us. If we allow this, the abusive behaviour of management will go on and on.

Wala naman problema kung i-adjust nila ng 10-25 ang sahod natin, as long as di tayo magigipit. Pero kung sasabihin nila na sasahod tayo sa Nov 15 at ang next sahod na ay Dec 10, yun ay di makatarungan. Kung tutuusin, pinagtrabahuhan na natin yung dapat na sasahurin natin ng Nov 30 (which is work natin from Nov 1-15, tama di ba.) Ang kailangan nilang gawin dyan ay pasahurin tayo ng Nov 15, Nov 30 then Dec 10 then Dec 25, kung gusto nila mag-adjust. Kung mabilisan pala nilang gagawin yun dapat WIN-WIN situation, parehong side di mahihirapan. Wag yung puro side lang nila iniintindi nila. Kung di dahil sa mga empleyado nila di naman sila kikita. Sabi nga, "take care of your employees and your employees will take care of your business." Ano pa yung WOW ng PS kung sa mga subordinates pa lang laglag na sila??? Ang laki talaga ng ipinagbago ng PS, at di ako bilib sa mga namamahala ngayon, they do not know how to take care of their employees. They do not know the real meaning of Human Resources. Ang iniisip lang nila ay yung sarili nilang kapakanan at pag-asenso.
If they continue treating their people like this, this company will not grow the same way it grew nung si Lance Rosenzweig pa namamahala. I missed those days na okay pa ang PTOs, maxicare benefits and now sahod.

Labor Code of the Philippines/BOOK THREE/CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT/Title I/WORKING CONDITIONS AND REST PERIODS/Chapter III/PAYMENT OF WAGES
Art. 103. Time of payment. Wages shall be paid at least once every two (2) weeks or twice a month at intervals not exceeding sixteen (16) days. If on account of force majeure or circumstances beyond the employer’s control, payment of wages on or within the time herein provided cannot be made, the employer shall pay the wages immediately after such force majeure or circumstances have ceased. No employer shall make payment with less frequency than once a month.
The payment of wages of employees engaged to perform a task which cannot be completed in two (2) weeks shall be subject to the following conditions, in the absence of a collective bargaining agreement or arbitration award:
That payments are made at intervals not exceeding sixteen (16) days, in proportion to the amount of work completed;
That final settlement is made upon completion of the work.

Ang masasabi ko naman sa 13th month, as long as di lalagpas ng Dec 24 keri lang. Sumusunod tayo sa batas kaya nararapat lang na sumunod din sila. Pero sana naman ibigay nila ito ng nakaugalian na sa PS which is 1st week bilang pakunswelo na rin sa mga empleyado nila.
The 13th Month Pay Law is Presidential Decree 851, as amended by Memorandum Order 28.
On August 13, 1986, President Corazon C. Aquino issued Memorandum Order No. 28 which provides as follows:
"Section 1 of Presidential Decree No. 851 is hereby modified to the extent that all employers are hereby required to pay all their rank-and-file employees a 13th month pay not later than December 24 of every year."

i will definitely sign my name if there will be a signature campaign against the APS.HIndi tlga ako agree sa compensation system nila. Can somebody or group of people send complaints to NLRC? I would be willing to voice out or sign my name.I hope NLRC would review this matter and take a closer look into the policies of APS (crook company) if it is in accordance to the Labor Code of the PHil. Today is the day...so far tahimik ang paligid - according to some peeps I know ni-cancel nila ang roll out last Friday...hmm I really hope APS will postpone this move.

My heart bleeds not only for the agents in fact halos lahat naman affected dito pwera nga lang dun sa mga sumusweldo ng hundreds of thousands of pesos every payday- nagdurugo ang puso ko sa mga new hires at mga reps from domestic accts at yung mga part timers natin..anu na lang ang pagkakasyahin nila this December?

Pray na lang tayo mga friends kung di madala ng prayers, you have two options - stay or leave. Maraming centers dyan na fair at makatao pa rin kahit paano. As for this company, wala na PeopleSupport? Nasan ang support? Dibale malapit na rin naman kayong mawalan ng PEOPLE. :(

meron yata propose na may 13th month sa 10, pero ung salary ng dec 15 is from dec 1-10 lang ang coverage.
tapos jan 11 ang coverage is dec 26-31.

Do not worry guys..We have a contract in our Company The agreement between HR and empolyee. As per our contract our pay out should be in 15/30 in a month. They did not yet inform all employee of Aegis that this thing would be happen and just in case this changes will happen they need to give us another contract that we are agree to the terms. We can file in the court if they will break their contract.

@wishlist - yeah sure na meron tayong ma re reciv na salary sa dec. 10th, 15th and 31st with all those adjustments but the thing is, try to check the transition and payout skeds parang ginagago pa rin tayo, kulang sila ng i think mga 10 days na sahod pra sa atin which is really sad:( ba't di na lang nila ibigay yong dapat ibigay ... hayyyy ... kaka lurkey na talaga, mag 4 yrs na ako dito but prang hanggang next yr na lang ako, we'll not grow here pati pagkatao natin being trampled upon na:(:(:( RIP na sa mga nag implement nito !!!

Kung anuman ang mangyari...marami naman ang dumakdak sa atin pero sinabayan ng dasal. Ang corny di ba? Pero kung totoo man ang panibagong scheme magpasalamat tayo at hilingin na hindi na mauulit ang ganito.

Ito na lang...sa susunod na makarinig ako na hindi ito problema kung nagtitipid ang tao...na ang nagrereklamo ay mga mahihirap...mga mal-edukado...mga cheap...bubuhusan ko ng kapeng kasing-init ng naoorder nila sa Starbucks pero di sing-mahal dahil kuha lang sa vendo.

Akala mo kung sinong mga alta sosyedad. Tinandaan ko na ang mga mukha. Tawag pa sa akin Mother. Puwes wala akong anak na walang puso at kaluluwa.

Maligaya pa rin naman ang Pasko nating lahat...kaya naman nating magtiis...sanay tayo dyan. Pero sa kanilang mga plastikado't plastikada (yes...kilala mo pa sila Bookie and kausap mo) habang-buhay silang pagkakaitan ng tunay na kaligayan. Hindi yan sumpa...pangako yan ng tadhana sa kanila.

Tinatalakay dito ang oras at agwat ng pag-papasweldo. guys kung magpapasweldo sila ng 10-25. That is still at least 2weeks or twice a month. At ang interval from 10th to 25th is not exceeding 16 day.
Ito naman:
If on account of force majeure or circumstances beyond the employer’s control, payment of wages on or within the time herein provided cannot be made, the employer shall pay the wages immediately after such force majeure or circumstances have ceased. No employer shall make payment with less frequency than once a month.
Allowance to ng gov’t if in case na magkaproblema ang isang kompanya at hindi tayo mabayaran on time. Ina-allow sila ng pamahalaan na ma-delay. Pero kailangan nila agad magbayad sa atin after ma resolve yung force majeure.

(magiging ganyan na ang format niyan for the rest of your stay here in ps.meaning lagging may nakabitin na 10days na delayed. ALWAYS!) 10days lang ang nakabitin kasi ang pay-out date ay 10th at ang ikinocover nito ay ang 16-30-meaing yung 26th 30th na basi ay paid ont time at ang 25th naman ang ikocover ay 1-15 meaning yung 11th to 15th ay paid on time)
So kung magre-resign ka ng Feb 30( iho-hold nila ang last pay-out date/ plus yung nakabitin na basic na hindi pa bayad) so masasama na ito sa back pay mo pa.

Ideally sa Accrual Principle. Service rendered are services already earned. Meaning NAKAPAGSERBISYO NA TAYO SA PS. Kaya utang na natin yun sa kanila. Na dapat nilang bayaran.

Ideally, hindi nila tayo dapat pinapahirapan na maningil, sa pera na pinagpaguran natin.

Hi. I rarely comment on your blog, Bookie. But for this, I will have my say.

I have attended the roll out a couple of weeks ago. And I was very vocal about my take on this. While I do understand that the company is losing money because of attrition, I have mentioned that there is a better way of doing this. There were several suggestions raised during the meeting, but I felt that the people who rolled-out this scheme are as helpless as we are. They are just the messengers. They do hold any "powers" to prevent this from happening.

I heard that the same scheme has been implemented to another company, and I heard that it took the company 3 months before everything was in order. They did it in 3 months to ensure that the agents will feel less "impact".

I heard that the HR head who wants to roll this out sent an email stating that the change will have 0 impact. I'm not sure if that is the correct phrasing or context. But if she meant that we will feel 0 impact once the change is implemented, then she is clearly mistaken. I guess it slipped her mind that majority of the employees of the company are working class citizens. There was even a comment from the HR person saying "Di ba may savings naman kayo?". Not all people could afford to save up with the salary that we are getting. The agents are the most affected, particularly those who just joined the company who will get their PRORATED 13th month pay. Also, the agents from the Domestic Business vertical who earns just a tad bit higher than minimum wage.

If they have been planning on this since May (like what I've read in the previous comments), should they have sent us a notice so that we could have saved up? Is it humane to do this to 10,000 employees on Christmas when the mood is festive for everyone? I can't help but feel outraged that the person who authored this change would tell us that this would have 0 impact at all.

I can't believe that this is what PEOPLESUPPORT has become...

...We used to pride ourselves on people culture. We are called people support because we support our people. Well, since we became Aegis Peoplesupport, it has become more about the company and the way we could earn revenue. Less focus on the employees and their needs. The programs being implemented to boost morale seems contrived and unsincere. Take the outing for example.

APS is giving their employees more reasons to leave them. Remember, people leave people. I have been with this company for AGES. They took my youth and inabuso nila ang bubot at sariwa kong katawan. LOL! I guess, this is the best time for me to finally move on.

Being a part of the "management team", I am bound by my duties and responsibilities. Part of it is to appear ONE with the management. Kahit naghihimagsik ang aking dibdib sa galit. Well, I have to take acting lessons to convince my team that I believe in the objectives of this new scheme and that I agree that this does not have any impact on them.

In all honesty, I am just waiting for other employees to act up on their pent up emotions. Not to instigate anything, but it would be pretty darn intersting...

The reason why this is happening is because you have been allowing these things to happen under the caprices & whims of the management. I never allowed myself to undergo blood typing as I believed that no hospital will accept the blood type info that you would give them as this will surely boomerang on them. If you would undergo operation & need standby blood all hospitals are required to perform blood typing for you & not just rely on your info as giving you the wrong blood could cause your death. So how come APS told you that they need to construct a blood bank directory of all employees for them to know whom to approach if somebody needs a certain blood type. WRONG!!! All hospitals would accept donors of any blood type in place of a specific blood type a patient needs. 'Twas just an exercise in futility & another step to constantly test the ignorance of most employees. I hope this time employees send a strong message to management. Here are some suggestions: Everybody who is not for the new payroll policy should tender 30-day notice of resignation before 13th month due date & specify the payroll issue as reason for resigning. I'm sure this would run to at least 80% of the workforce. They would surely make them think twice before implementing the new policy. Another drastic move is to wait for 10th & if it doesn't include the 1st half of the monthly salary then all employees who resent this policy should remove their prongs & send email to supes that you would only come back if you see your salary in your ATM then stage a mass walk-out. Now pray tell me don't you think management won't budge-in as a day of lost service for clients would cost APS millions of dollars? You can only make a stand if there is collective effort on the part of workforce. DON'T BE AFRAID TO LOSE YOUR JOB IN APS AS THERE ARE A LOT OF BPOs BETTER THAN APS WILLING TO TAKE YOU IN. Let them take in the newbies & put them down the drain. GOODLUCK AGENTS & GOOD RIDDANCE APS???

I'm a former PS Sup.. And yes.. all they can do is promise you anything that you want to hear but you'll end up getting nothing!. I gave up an opportunity for them because I believed them when they talk to me and gave those "crap promises" I never wanted to leave because I have good memories with the people i have worked with but with the way things are going.. management! I had to!
When I had my Exit interview I gave them all the reason why I'm leaving and Why other people before me left as well.. I asked them "How many complains do you get from resigning employees.. Are you doing something about it?" What answer did I get?.. An effin Smile! Nakaka Dismaya!
I would have stayed longer.. kaya lang parang wala na pag asa... pa survey ng pa survey wala naman nangyayari! and totoo! Kawawa ang mga sups kasi kami ang kailangan magsabi ng BIGLAANG masamang balita sa mga agents kasi puro Bulaga! na lang ang lahat! What happenned to the "OPEN-BOOK" relationship na sinsabi niyo?! Hi. We're based here in Rockwell Business Center and we actually have no idea whatsoever of what's happening with our salaries, until just last Saturday, Nov. 6. And until now, wala pa ring news na nakakarating dito about that. Kami pa nga ang nagkwento sa supervisor namin about this nung malaman namin from a colleague na naka-base sa PS Makati. Our sup had no idea that this was happening, and frankly, parang wala namang epek sa kanya nung malaman niya, so us agents are alone in our sentiments.

Anyway, ang daming comments sa blog mo, Bookie... Hindi namin alam kung paano pa mag-re-react. LOL. So ano na ba ang latest about this? As of this moment, wala pa ring alam ang heads namin, and even our team manager, I would say. Tikom pa rin siya. Kaya wala kaming matanong about this issue. Thanks! :)

I have the feeling why the breed of SUSHMITA SEN is trying to hold the salary. They wanted to use the money which could amount to at least 70M in trying to take control of 5-6 activities nationwide. Look closely at the acronym APS which means AngPaybSix.

Most of my colleagues here in RBC does not know kung ano na ang nangyayari sa payroll. nung nalaman nila, ayun nagkawindang-windang silang lahat at simple lang ang tanong nila...... "BAKIT!?". I dunno what would i say but i see to it, may ilang missing point and money na mawawala sa atin. Sa basic computation, nasaan ang Oct. 16-30 Basic pay kung puro adjustments ang ibibigay nila.:

Nov 15th pay-out : 1-15 Nov basic, Oct.16-30 adj
Nov 30th pay-out : 16-30 Nov basi, Nov 1 -15 adj.
Dec 10th: 13th month , adjustments ng Nov 16-30 (posibleng mabawasan o madagdagan depende sa OTs, absences, undertime, etc.)
Dec 25th: Dec 1-15 na basic ( please take note ng Adjustments sa basic pay naten), plus other adjustments. OTs, absences, undertime.
Jan 10th: Dec 16-30 na basic (again please take note sa adjustment ng basic naten), plus other adj.OTs, absences, undertime.
Jan 25th : Jan1-15 na basic pay (again please take note of the adj ng basic naten), plus other adj. OTs , absences, undertime.
And so on…

For us, unfair naman sa ating mga eReps kung ganun ang sisimula. Why not start it first sa UPPER MANAGEMENT before implementing it to us?.... Ika nga, may TESTING na tinatawag, NESTING lang ang terminology sa atin.... Once effective, then implement...

Halos karamihan sa atin ang nagplano ng isang masaganang PASKO pero sa sitwasyon, isang PASKONG TUYO ang daranasin ng ilan sa atin.

Nawa maglabas sila ng statement or process of transition para maliwanag sa ating kapwa empleyado ang kanilang plano.

kaya tama si Bookie. Ok-ok na. Hindi man nila aminin na major cause ng kanilang revisions ay dahil sa mga comments dito, tama na sigurong may ginawa silang paraan.

pero i still encourage everyone to air their grievances here. hindi man ngayon, in the future pa rin. hindi man tayo na-eempower ng THE VOICE, dito, nailalabas natin ang mga saloobin natin.

The reason for the change is not because the company is "nalulugi". It's just another cost-cutting measure concocted by Mahal. Siyempre, she will look good to her boss that she was able to save up upto $100k in salaries and wages. Paano kanyo? Simple, by delaying the salary, mas tatagal ito sa banks, hence it will earn more interest. Also by transitioning to the new process, it will allow Finance Dep't to completely migrate to SAP system used by Essar (hence the costs to maintain MyPrime payroll system will be discontinued).

And yes, this was all planned as early as mid-2010. In fact, there were 5 options being looked into by management from a cost and legal perspective. Why it was rolled out this late, yun ang misteryo.

Meanwhile, all Business Leaders are excited sa bonggang-bongga nilang vacation sa Shangrila Boracay this upcoming Dec 5-6. Ang budget nila for this event is PhP 10M. Ang Christmas party/year end event para sa lahat ng empleyado? PhP 2M.

ok na friends! We will be given what's due for us..sa roll out at sa handouts na binigay nila kahapon, may 3 pays tayong matatanggap this december.. (1) Dec 10 - 13th month pay, (2) dec 15 - basic salary for dec 1-10 plus other income for nov 16-30, (3) Dec 31 - basic salary for dec 11-25 plus other income for dec 1-25.. tapos sa january, first pay will be credited jan 11 which consists of the basic salary for dec 26-31 plus other income for dec 26-31 and yung PTO conversion e kecredit din sa Jan 11.

If you don't like your jobs or the policies of the company then RESIGN! No one on this board is irreplaceable. Do you REALLY think the company would go bankrupt if all of you left? Please... in a country like this where labor is a surplus, there are plenty who would gladly take your jobs and not complain, at least for a while.

It's sad to see so many people who act soooo entitled, and feeling like they are 'owed' something. There is nothing 'illegal' our 'unethical' in any of the company's policies. Unfair on some level? Probably yes, but life itself is not fair. Grow up and deal with it like adults!

I noticed that, for all these complaints, few if any have the courage to post their real names. It must be really hard to not have the backbone to voice your complaints directly, and to have to vent on a gossip board. Then again, I guess it's much easier to hide behind a screen name and slander your employer who is putting money in your pockets and food on your tables - rather than voice your concerns directly.

Be happy that you're working in a country where the people are sought after for their language abilities - hence I composed this in Ingles. All of you should remember that "on the floor" is where the money is made and what makes it ALL possible, regardless of what your role is in the company. The agents are the ones who are making the money - not the business planners, not the HR, etc. Aside from the Call Centers, there aren't many industries that are booming in our country. Be thankful and appreciate the opportunities you've been given, instead of acting so entitled and demanding. In short... GROW UP!

I dont expect agents to understand the workings of management. You are concerned about your salary, management is concerned about keeping the company in the green so that you can have a salary. Your points of view are totally different.

Of course the management cares about its agents and realizes that the agents are its main assets, but that doesnt mean that it will give away money to placate the agents even if it means losing money.

But this is the way the Filipino's mind works. We vote for a President and expect him to take us out of poverty, and then we oust him pag mahirap pa din tayo after some time.

It is very disappointing the way some of you have commented on this blog. Your points may be valid and your concerns worth listening to, but is this really the way for "professionals" to act? some of you even claim to be members of senior management and yet you do not know how to make the people understand. Instead you feed the fires of misunderstanding.

This company has always maintained an open door policy wherein you can talk to your leaders. Don't think that these leaders who run companies in many countries do not know what they are doing. It is for the good of the company, and whats good for the company will ultimately be good for everyone. Its just that the changes and adjustments we need to make are uncomfortable sometimes. These people are not stupid, you would be the stupid ones to think so.

Any valid concern can be aired in the correct manner, hindi yang para kayong mga squatter. Write a letter to your Leaders, they're just an email away.

Naiintindihan ko that at an agent level, wala kayong pakialam dun. But still, kung dimo kayang maging proud sa trabaho mo at sa trabahong nagpapasuweldo sa yo.. much better pa nga na humanap na ng iba. Instead na reklamo ng reklamo at wala ka ng makitang maganda.. na parang kumpanya ang dahilan ng lahat ng pagdurusa mo sa buhay.

You forget, this is a business not Charity.. and this business provides thousands of jobs in this country.

Stop your ranting and threats of media and court cases and all that empty bluff. Instead, do something productive like write a letter to your leaders.. talk to them.. you see them in the hallways, you know where they sit. If you are professional and factual, then management will respond to your concerns..

I agree with you. May violation talaga in the sense na ang pondo, hindi binibigla ang kaltas. It should be in a way na hindi ramdam ng empleyado. For example, bakit di nila gawin na for a month, papasok tau in 1 day pero di tau bayad - and un ang magiging pondo. So kung need nila ng 10 days na pondo for every employee, 10 months un aabutin. meaning, one every month, pasok tau pero di bayad kasi pondo. This way, di maxadong ramdam.

Dapat jan may papel. Kasi pano kung magkagulo gulo na pagdating ng resignation. Bigla nilang makalimutan ung policy na to at iclaim ulet na real time ang sahod at wlang pondo di ba?

kasi base sa mga kwento ng mga agents hired before myprime was impelemented, may pondo daw sila. Meaning, doble pondo na sila kung papatupad to by january. Di nga lang nila matandaan kasi year 2001-2002 pa sila nahire and paycheck pa ang gamit, wala pang myprime. So kmusta naman kung nsa kanila pa din ung first ever paycheck showing na may pondo sila.

@auditor - hindi lang 10 days ang nakabinbin, if u are referring to calendar days ah? 15 calendar days ang mawawala at gagawing pondo. halfmonth pay to be exact.

Dapat linawin din nila kung exact half month ba ito or 10 or 11 business days depending on the daily rate.

They change the payroll period so they should also change the cut-off period. Dapat pinapaliwanag ng Payroll Manager yan!!! pag ganyan ang binigay 5 days lang ang pondo ng employee sa company. Rationale: This is to give payroll team an ample time to process all employees payroll.

It's true that this whole things could have been handled better. But you shouldnt blame the mistakes of some, to the management team as a whole. You do not see how management looks for ways to compensate it's agents while still keeping the company profitable. That is beyond your line of sight already. There are many things that we already take for granted.. our laid back environment, the internet hubs in the pantry.. the cable TV, the year end party, the incentives.. etc etc.. these things we already take for granted since we think it is our right to have them and we feel that we should have more..

If you do not have faith that your Leaders care for your well being, then everything that happens will be taken negatively and anything positive will not be appreciated.

You don't appreciate the company that puts food on your table, money in your pockets.. you act like it causes all the problems in your life... well that is your prerogative. But for those of you who love working here and are simply reacting out of fear for something you don't understand and feel impotent about, i can assure you, your leaders hear your concerns. You just have to have a little faith.

Internet hubs and cable TVs are only available in APS Center. We don't have that here in RBC. So it's pretty easy to take those things for granted.

Also, some accounts doesn't have that "incentives" you're talking about.

RBC is a new building and if you notice, still under constuction in most areas... maybe you can wait a bit until everything's in place?

Incentives, these things you can bring up in your FGDs with your leaders... im sure your managers are looking to compensate you in some way. While money is very important, and is the reason why most of us are working, its not always the ONLY compensation we get.

In this blog, i noticed that people have so much anger and hate.. why? You talk about your jobs this way, but this is not a reflection of the company you work for, this is a reflection of your attitude. How much do you think bank employees earn? or someone in a regular office? Maybe just half of what we earn... yes we work at nights and are more prone to sickness.. but then thats why you earn twice as much as the regular employee. That is already compensation. But those people stay in their jobs with their small salaries simply because they love what they're doing.. this is proof that not all compensation is about the $$$.

Our jobs should be enough compensation as it is. But i guess, its in our nature to feel that we deserve more.. more and more.. and that's fine too.. cause where would we be if we didn't have these desires?

So whats productive is to work with your leaders, help your company grow and that includes growing pains and just love your jobs.. if you don't love what you're doing, then thats a different problem altogether. One company is the same as the next, there will always be something not worth loving. It's up to you how you handle that, either you work with it, trust the system and give it all you got and reap the benefits of your hard work OR simply do what a lot of people here are doing, which doesnt really do much for anyone, least of all yourselves. Be wise.

We are all adults here. Professionals, supposed to be.. with diplomas and all like most of you point out.. so lets start acting the part and discuss like adults in a productive manner

Salaries Expense is part of the Cost to Operate. Net Income will be ruled after they have deducted all the expenses. And in big companies like this. The cost to operate for the entire year is already planned. No businessman would enter a business with the undertone of Decline. Every businessman's mindset is backed-up with the Going Concern Principle. If you don't know enough. Then you better shut your freaking gob. We actually have the same salary as bank employees or other regular employees... well, at least in our account. We don't earn that much compared to our accounts here in APS. That's one reason why a lot of agents in our account resigned. But some, like myself, stayed because -- as you said -- we love what we do.

We go transferred here in RBC. Our transportation expenses and travel time increased 100%, but we're still here. Nagtitiis pa rin. We talked with our leaders if they could provide at least a FREE shuttle or something, pero wala naman as expected. With measly salary, plus these additional expenses, andito pa rin naman kami. They never heard any bad thing from us.

That's simply because we love what we're doing.

And this news regarding our payout, as you can imagine, is a really big deal for us. So kung magreact man ng ganyan ang iba, maintindihan sana kung bakit. Siguro punung-puno na ang damdamin ng karamihan ng hinanakit, pero andito pa rin naman sila. Dahil gusto nila ang ginagawa nila.

I don't really understand what the problem is. Hindi naman mababawasan ang sweldo nyo right? Iuurong lang naman di ba? Makukuha nyo pa din ang buong sweldo nyo per araw kahit anong mangyari. Inurong na nga to January 11 di ba?

Naghihintay kayo na kausapin kayo ng HR. Aba eh, kaysa puro kayo speculation, pumunta kayo sa HR. May AM at GY naman sa kanila dahil nakikita ko sila. O baka naman hindi nyo inisip na may HR sa PS? Mahirap bang gawin yun? Nangangat na ba sila?

Try lang. Baka mag gets nyo. When you do, try to apply for a higher position, ibig sabihin hindi na makitid ang utak nyo.

Gusto nyo, tumulad kayo saken, nagresign at matino ang companyang nalipatan. Or tumulad kayo sa iba, nagresign, minalas at natanggal sa trabaho dahil hindi tulad sa PS na as much as possible they keep their employees. Tingnan nga natin kung makalas loob nyo makipagsapalaran sa unknown. Ang tatapang nyo eh.

@ PunksNotDead , alam mo panay ang defend mo sa APS. Ang simple lang naman ang nais iparating ng mga employees eh, hwag magbabago ng basta basta na hindi nag-aask ng opinion. May karapatan ang bawat employees na pakinggan at magsalita kasi involve lahat sa pagbabago. Hindi lang employees ang maapektuhan sa bawat biglaan desisyon ng company maging ang kanila -kanilang pamilya. Bakit ba tayo nagtra-trabaho hindi ba dahil sa sahod at mga benefits ? Hindi ba kaya nagtra-trabaho e para mabuhay tayo at ang family natin? Sahod ang pinag-uusapan ntin. Bakit babaguhin ng basta basta na hindi pa handa ang mga employees ? Look mag -chri- christmas at new year malaking gastusan saan kukuha ng panggastos kung ide-delay ang sahod ngayon? Pano ang mga may anak na need gumastos sa mga school activities at program? Hindi rin sila maghahanda samantalang may family sila? Para ano at nagtra-trabaho tayo? Again sa pagbalik natin sa work after new year saan tayo kukuha ng pamasahe at pang-araw - araw na gastusin? Ang gusto lang naman ng mga employees ay hwag ngayon december at sa unang sahod ng January. Succeeding na lang para maka-recover. Are you using your common sense. Nagko-comment ka na hindi mo muna pinag-isipan ? You know what mnayaman ka siguro? Or mataas ang position mo at malaki sahod sa APS kaya hindi ka apektado pano yun mga simpleng manggagawa? To all na nagde-defend sa APS na malamang nasa admin, HR o mga position, ingat naman kayp sa pagko-comment. Yun sinasabi niyo na parang utang na loob pa ng mga employees na na hire sila sa APS. Let me remind you na hire niyo sila because of their ability, skills , kowledge and their service. Pareho lang tayong nagbe-benefit? Nakikinabang kami dahil sa sahod at mga benefits at ang company nakikinabang at kumikita dahil sa serbisyo ng mga employees. Ibig nakikinababg kami sa company at nakikinabang din kayo sa mga employees. Gingawa ng mga employees ang trabaho nila ng maayos then turn din ng company na ibigay ang nararapat sa employees. Karapatan nila ang sahod nila. Oo ibibigay niyo nga pero ide-delay niyo naman na lam niyo na may malaking gastusan sa December? Tama ba iyon na gawin niyo? Again tignan niyo naman ang mga tao nyo. Hayaan nyo naman ma-enjoy nila ang December. Pinaghirapan ng mga employees yan kaya dapat ma-enjoy nila sa mga ganitong occassion. Konting consideration lang sa mga tao.After December, hayaan niyo naman maka-recover sila sa mga malaking gastusan this January. Pwede ba na sa February na lang ang change ng salary scheme na yan. Again pang-unawa sa mga tao. Karapatan ng mga tao yan. Pinagpaguran nila yan. Hwag nyong ika-twiran na swerte nila at may work sila. Again uulitin ko hire niyo sila dahil sa service nila. Siguro observant din kayo na maraming nagre-resigned. Pagkatapos niyong magpagod at gastusan sa training nila magre-resign lang pala. Bakit dahil sinulot o nakakita sila ng ibang company na mas malaki ang sahod at maraming benefits. Yun ba ang gusto niyo ang gamitin ang company as traning ground? Bakit d niyo pahalagahan ang tao niyo by giving them higher salary, more benefits lalo na sa mga asset ng company? oo maraming nag-aapply but after that umaalis din agad. Yan ba ang gusto niyo ? Waste of time and waste of money. Bakit kasi imbes na nakikinababg na ang company dahil marami ng nagagawang work yun tao heto magre-resign na naman.

Kung nagagawa ng ibang company na i-keep ang tao nila at manulot ng tao ng ibang company dahil mas malaki ang sahod nila at benefit bakit ang APS hindi kaya? Mag-research kayo sa mga iba't ibang company. I am tellint this para sa ikakabubuti ng company. This coming year lilipat na ako sa ibang company katulad ng mga kasamahan ko because we were offered a higher salary and more benfits. Ayaw kong umalis na walang changes sa APS. I learned to love APS but i need to go kasi opportunity ito eh! Practical and wise speaking dahil masusuportahan ang family at sarili ko kapag lunipat me. Again, hwag nyong takutin ang tao dahil maraming work dyan. Kung nagre-research kayo makikita niyo sa google,at mga iba't ibang website. Imbes na sabihin na malaya silang umalis dahil may kapalit agad why not value them. Okey maraming applicant, sa palagay niyo ba kapag nalaman nila ang nangyayari sa company sa mga succeeding days may mag-aapply pa sa inyo? Pag-isipan niyong mabuti yan? Thanks...

i agree to all of your comments, some of you made me realize that when it comes to employees rights we are equal. they can change the policy whenever they want thats fine with me...pero when it comes to MONEY and BENEFITS i guess its going to be a different story.

i am an agent from a big travel account... that sucks with everything... i am willing to convey all of your messages to them.. i know i can do that!!! but the problem is, who do i need to talk to?my lead who's also confused with the policies?my managers? that all they can think of is to have the agents go on OT on top of their OT? or to those people in the higher management na di ko manlang kilala because di ko sila nakikta?

My job description is to serve our customers the best way that I can and never in my life na nakalimutan ko yun, so I think that the management is there to support the agnets the best way that they could. so now tell me is there something that an Agent can do so that we can be heard other than saying everything in this blog?

Whoever those people who's in the position right now to talk to the higher management and please stand for us.

PAYROLL DATE: 25/MONTH PAYROLL CUT-OFF: FROM 6TH - 20 OF THE CURRENT MONTH.

They change the payroll period so they should also change the cut-off period. Dapat pinapaliwanag ng Payroll Manager yan! pag ganyan ang binigay 5 days lang ang pondo ng employee sa company. Rationale:THE DAYS BETWEEN THE CUT-OFF PERIOD AND THE PAYROLL DATE ARE THE PAYROLL PROCESSING TIME.

i claro ko lang po. pag ka kuha nating ng 13th month sa Dec. 10 wala na tayong sweldo sa Dec. 15? sa Dec. 25 na ulit? saan napunta yung sweldo natin ng 15th, dapat sa dec10 din yun diba kasi 10 25 na tayo? Cut off yun ng Nov 16 to Nov 30 diba? So ibig sabihin nag tranaho tayo ng Nov 16 to 30 pero wala tayo sweldo? Ang labo naman or hindi ko lang naiintindihan? Pa explain naman please, kasi if wala akong sweldo pano na pambayad ko ng rent, service and baon ng anak ko, pati mga kautangan ko? Mababan ng mababaon ako sa utang! nag tratrabaho ako para mabaon sa utang?

Magkakaron na nga ng townhall para mas maitindihan natin lahat.. walang mawawalan ng suweldo according sa revised na roll out!! 3 pa din ang suweldo sa DEC.. bakit naman gagawin ng company sa atin yun??? mag isip nga kayo! iuurong lang ang payroll dates to improve the exit process at iimplement ang SAP. wag na kayo magkuro kuro at naguguluhan lang lalo ang iba. Obviously kulang nga ang naging explanation sa unang roll out kaya nga maghohold ng town halls at email communications. Sa mga nagmamagaling mag compute, tingin niyo mas magaling kayo sa buong payroll team? Or feeling niyo lang sadyang nilalamangan kayo? Lets have some trust guys! Nakakarindi ang mistrust niyo sa company. Kung di kayo bilib sa pinagtatrabahuhan niyo, resign for gods sake! dahil kahit anong gawin di kayo maliligayahan kung may mistrust. naniniwala ka na ang pagbabago ng payroll dates ay sagot sa problema sa exit process at implementation ng SAP?...ang exit process kayang kontrolin ng HR yan kung gagamitin lang ng tama ang HRIS SYSTEM, sa pakikipagtulungan na rin ng mga SUPERVISORS...PROPER COORDINATION LANG YAN!...IMPLEMENTATION NG SAP?...sa tingin mo ba ganun kadali i-implement ang payroll sa SAP?...para maintindihan mo, ang pagbabago sa isang critical na process gaya ng PAYROLL ay hindi minamadali. kailangan mahaba at mabusising pag-aral..PAG AARAL PA LANG YAN...wala pang TESTING, na ang TESTING PA LANG pwedeng tumagal ng 6 na buwan o mahigit pa sa isang TAON!....tanungin mo na lang muna ang sarili mo anong SAP application / system ang gawa ng PINOY? sa tingin mo ba kung global ang PHIL PAYROLL SYSTEM para maintindihan ng isang SAP application ang PHIL PAYROLL SYSTEM?...kailangan pang i-localize ang SAP, meaning to say IBANGGA ang SAP APPLICATION na gagamitin sa mga existing PAYROLL POLICY NG PILIPINAS...

Kung ngayon nga na naguguluhan na sa pagprocess ng PAYROLL SYSTEM using the local payroll system nila, what more kung ipapa-implement ang PAYROLL using SAP applications na mamadaliin nila...hindi ba mas nakakatakot yun ha?

I just want to thank callboi for starting this blog. Parang naisip ko tuloy nagka-isa yung APS dahil sa blog na to. Kasi kami nga dito sa Cebu, saka lang namin nalaman yung about the new payroll policy nung mabasa namin yung blog mo.

linawin ko na rin ung sinasabi mong SLA. actually parang mas maganda kung JD o job desciption ang pag-usapan natin. sinabi mo na kaya may incentive ay dahil may SLA na kailangang i-exceed. eh di ba trabaho naman talaga ng agent yun? na magmeet at mag-exceed na SLA? the same goes for support.meron din kaming SLA na kelangang ipasa. hindi ka lang siguro aware.

im sorry if i stepped on anybody else's toes. it was unintentional. hindi lang maganda ang dating ng sinabi ni angel para sa akin.

this is really disgusting to all the hardworking employees of APS...i didnt like the way they treated agents. Good thing umalis na agad ako before this happened, but sad thing, naiwan ang mga friends ko jan na halos maospital na sa pag ttrabaho ng mabuti...i miss working there but i dont miss the salary! mababa na nga tapos ganyan pa ang ginawa nila.. they dont value employees, they just want to make more money for themselves..this is really frustrating lalo na sa mga taong nagplano na ahead of time for their expected salaries...APS is a sinking ship i think...few more months eh mag go-goodbye na yan sa callcenter industry...
