Living alone does have its perks.
Pwede akong maglakad ng hubad without fear of someone screaming in horror at the sight of all my naked flesh.
Pwede akong hindi maglinis ng ilang araw (or ilang linggo, kasi tamad talaga ako mag-linis ng bahay, some of my books are starting to grow fur).
Admittedly, a two-storey apartment, with two spacious rooms on the second floor; a sala, bathroom, small indoor kitchen, and a small laundry room at the back of the ground floor, is too much upkeep for one person.
The unit I'm renting can accommodate four people quite comfortably. For the price of a small studio apartment, I get to stay in a whole house.
Eh ang kaso, gusto ko sana ako lang talaga mag-isa. But then again, the rent is killing me.
So here I am, posting this entry, asking if there's anyone out there who needs a place closer to Makati.
My apartment is in Guadalupe Nuevo, a walk away from Sogo motel.
May tindahan ng chicken skin sa may kanto namin, at meron ding tatlong sari-sari store sa street ko.
And it's a very safe place. Never pa akong nahoholdap dun. Although, madalas akong sinusutsutan ng mga callboy na umaaligid sa kabilang street.
