oo nga eh.. daming nag-reresign.. pati yung mga crush kong wala na... pero you can asnwer part of the question... compare PS on your time and today... changing policies, new mgmt, uncompetetive salary (in which some company offers more than 20k for at least a year tenureship)... culture na lang ang maipagmamalaki ng PS and nothing more na... hay... well... let's see what tomm brings with ESSAR and AEGIS.... also, if you will notice na yung mga onaks sa PS.. nasan? sa Teletech na...

Why do people leave? Greener pastures daw. Unfortunately one can never really tell what lies ahead if they decide to go somewhere else. May mga gusto rin naman bumalik. May mga no-looking back din. But I read/heard somewhere that people don't really leave companies -- they leave because of the management...

i agree... yung mga taong dapat i-value ng company ang nawawala at yung mga sakit sa buhay ay nanjan pa din....

we lost a trainer this june... buti pa cya masaya na... susunod na din kame, malapit na... haaaaaaaayz...

management talaga.. mga tao diyan sa taas.. biglang sulpot. turo turo na lang.. sad lang kasi ung ibng naghihirap di narerecognize lalo dito sa sales. hay.. me isa jan umuupo lang. tpos isang araw. kabooommm!!!
ung isa naman syota dati nung isang nawala tpos aun ulit!! lalo na ung isang walnmg pangalan porke kanang kamay lang aun na rin!! hay....

i'm kinda new here in ps (or in the call center industry) but not at all surprised to know there's too much drama going on...just started this january so if anything, i'm oblivious to this whole revolution that apparently had recently taken place (or was there any? whatever)

i guess what i wanna say is: i'm just as sad that people are resigning...

but as long as the people i know and love are here...

aubreybaby is indeed right na it's not really for greener pasture ang hanap nung mga nagsialis. it's really the management. like sa akin, di naman ganun kalayo ang sueldo ko dito sa accenture from what i was earning sa PS, pero talagang di ko matake ang boss ko higher than my sup. mawala lang yung TM na yun eh gugustuhin ko talagang bumalik sa PS.

@callboi- well true.. kasi most of the onaks is gone na... ilan ilan na ang sila... check the top mgmt of telectech... sino ba sila... puro from PS and nasan nasan na yung dating COO ng teletech... kaboom... wla na..iheard na he's going to another indian company...hay... i'll bet na si mike burger will go to telech even sr ops man na dikit sa PD na onaks eh sure na will with him... i'll ask u bookie... what's your say sa old mgmt sa new... u've been in PS for for than 5years na...

we can't say it's the geener pasture kasi pagdating mo sa new work mo then you can say san ang mas green.... the old or the new... true ang point na mgmt... pero let's see na lang what the new mgmt can do... it's june na.. we can tell after a year... aug or oct yata nag merge ang PS sa Aegis so by july or oct 2009 we can sat if maganda or what...

oh diba we'll have new bldg sa cebu na 14 story... long term goal talaga sila... even processes is being outsource... think of aspire and aegis tech ltd for IT .... hay...

@ e_sasha: ang arte mo naman! sorry nainis lang ako nung nabasa ko comment mo. Why will you be sad that people are resigning when you said that you are just new in the industry, I'm sure ung karamihan ng mga nagresign eh hindi mo kilala. Ganyan ba talaga ang mga bago sa callcenter industry? Naalala ko tuloy ung mga trainee lalu na pag naguusap, akala mo sobrang yayaman kung makaenglish dahil nasa "Callcenter" daw sila, pero pag pinakinggan mo naman, mali mali grammar pronunciation. Tumigil nga kayo mga social climbers. Lupet pala ng english mo ha, parang txt lang ni INDAY.... hahahaha pero hindi ganun kagaling, parang txt na pilit inaabot ung level ni inday. hahaha

no wonder nagreresign ang mga peeps sa PS kasi nahahaluan na ang mga dating dugong bughaw ng mga dugong malabnaw. madaming newbies ngayon ang feeling na. anyway, i don't want to bitch around (kahit tapos ko ng ma-type), my worry here is our demographics. the new management is very particular with the metrics, not even thinking of how feasible they are in a humanitarian way. let's just hope that in time, with all the transition that is happening right now, we would get better results to ramp up.

madami na nga nagresign at mga magreresign....akin lang eh sana the management will do something to retain or keep vetreps... nothing wrong with newbies, since they are performing pero, wala na ba silbi ngayon ang tenure?

@Q_Amidala: I heard from a little bird na tenure means nothing anymore. It's all about what management sees now, performance-wise, that is.

pasintabi po sa mga newbies sa PS ha, kung performance lang rin naman ang titingnan eh siguro naman di hamak na may edge ang mga vets. sana, the management would find a way to keep the vets kasi sila yung talagang nagtiyaga at nagstay para maging bongga ang PS, like Bookie.

I agree din sa sinabi nyong lahat na they have to do something about the vetreps. Ewan ko ba sa PS, ni wala ng sportsfest, summer outing, yun na nga lang ang pinanghahawakan ng PS (culture) tapos nawala pa? Ano ba talagang nangyayari? Grabe talaga sila magfocus sa performance, which is tama lang din naman, pero syempre dapat kahit papano naisip din nila ung mararamdaman ng empleyado. I believe that happy people are successful people, kaya siguro maraming nagreresign dahil hindi na sila happy, therefore, hindi sila successful, kaya nauuso yang GREENER PASTURE na yan kasi naghahanap sila ng happiness sa ibang companya o pagveventure sa ibang career! Well siguro ganito na ang pamamalakad kasi mejo nakakalimutan ng mga empleyado na AEGIS PEOPLESUPPORT na nga pala to, hindi lang PeopleSupport kaya sobrang daming changes. Pati nga domain ng email magbabago na! Haaaayyyyzzz....

@kulutero: i didn't think someone would take what i said seriously...bumati lang naman ako...sorry if i offended you in any way...don't worry, di ako social climber...to be honest isa ako sa mga naghanap ng madaliang pagkakakitaan after graduating college...i happen to have found it in PS...now if my existence here is preventing you from doing your job well,tell me and i'll submit my resignation letter faster than you can say bitch...

iba na talaga ang management compare before...we can't blame our bosses kasi sumusunod din lang naman sila sa upper management..i just miss the old PS days..yung tipong, you're looking forward to go to work everyday kasi nag-eenjoy ka dun sa work mo and also sa mga kasama mo sa ops..

honestly, im thinking of resigning na rin, although ndi naman ako msyadong kawalan sa company..hehe

nakakawala ng drive magtrabaho, parang papasok ka na lang for the sake of payslip..

kahit yung culture na sinasabi nila, unti-unti ng nawawala..

management does not really care for the tenure ek-ek..kahit more than 8 years ka na sa company, pag resign mo, less than 10thou lang ata ang makukuha mong backpay...

sigh...malalim na buntong hininga ..

like what i always used to say when i was at ps, people don't resign from ps to look for greener pastures. the resign for green pastures.

from compensation to benefits to management, there are so many others that beat ps, pero hr, tim miller, etc always used to say it's because of this that ps will stay afloat in the business, pero ano? na-takeover na ng indians hehe...

if its culture, yes perhaps. this blog can be one reason to stay, haha! nung magresign c ts rey cadag, he kinda cited how the ps culture is different from before. supervisors can't stand up for their agents without risking their own jobs now.

yung mga gs2 natin magresign, baka never na magresign yan mga yan. ok lang na haggard to the max agents basta may iphone at gym membership. haha!

bookiebells, nagresign na din ako nung june14 bec of my health and also dahil din sa management. grabe na kasi.parang pinipiga ung agents pag nakuha nila yung gusto nila hihingi pa sila ng mas malaki un. gets mo?? tapos walang dagdag sa salary di rin nabibigyan ng compensation pag nagiging to agent sa team or sa cluster. sodexho lang minsan wala pa. harrr. pero nag resign talaga ako dahil sa health ko. di rin naman nacocover ng maxicare ee kaya pahinga nalang :) miss you
