Call Center Confidential

As some of you know, I was invited to attend a certain event last Sunday sa may Gerry's Grill sa Glorietta.

What event, you ask?

Eh ano pa nga ba eh di ang bonggang-bonggang Ms. Telesales USA 2008!!!

If you must know, hindi ako contestant. I was there for a specific reason.

Pero bago iyon, ipakikilala ko muna kayo sa mga sumusunod na nag-gagandahang mga binibini in their state costumes.

Ms. Illinois!!! Also known as Jed!

Ms. Nevada!!! Also known as Toni! Ang ganda ng suot niya noh? Parang binalatan niya si Big Bird at ginawang costume. Loves it!

Ms. New York!!! Also known as Angel!

And last but not least, Ms. Hawaii!!! Also known as Yeye!

Together, the four of them are the candidates for Ms. Telesales USA 2008!!!

At nasaan ako?

Eto oh:

Chairman of the Board of Judges ang Callboi!!! Thank you!

Kasama ko sa pagiging judges si Vinnie, Lead Sales Trainer, Steven Cinco, Team Hunk, and manager rin yata siya or something, tsaka isa pang guy na nakalimutan ko ang pangalan. Kasi naman, nung nagpakilala siya sa akin, kumakain ako ng sisig. Eh heller! Alam niyo namang pag pagkain na ang kaharap ko wala na akong napapansing iba, di ba?

Anyway, I never expected the contest to be that grand, so I was pleasantly surprised. You could really tell na pinaghirapan ng management at ng mga candidates ang event.

Look oh:

The food was yummy. And get this, nasa VIP table ako. I've never been in the VIP table before in any event. Dehins nga ako pumila sa linya para sa food eh; dinalhan kami ng mga waiters ng pagkain! Susyal! Sana pala nagmake-up ako for the event. Pero kiber na, kasama ko si Sup Bang, nilafang namin ang food sa harap namin kahit nung nag-o-opening prayer na.

Meron pang candle-lighting ceremony for one agent who unfortunately recently passed away.

Meron ding mga dance numbers! Sa pic na ito, mukha lang silang naka-istambay sa gitna pero sa totoo lang, sumasayaw sila! Ang galing nga eh! Na-challenge nga ako eh, parang gusto ko biglang makisali sa dance floor kaso ballroom lang ang alam ko, at pwede ka bang sumayaw ng Cha-Cha to the tune of "Low"?

At silang tatlo ang ilan sa mga kumanta nung gabing yun. Uso pala ang white sa Sales Department, ano?

Si Neal ang nag-imbita sa akin sa event, at si Chie naman ang nag-asikaso sa akin. Salamat! Next time, sagot ko ang isang round!

Kudos nga pala kay Nesti, who did a fabulous and totally hilarious stand-up comedy set! Galing mo, marse!
